I love rugby myself, I'm usually on the wing. I'm not very experienced, but its fun as long as I'm not in a scrum.
Yeah, I guess.
But yeah, I got sick of being beaten by some fatass that could barely catch a ball, I tend to prefer non-organised sports like climbing :smug:
Thats pretty pimp :-)
Actually I'd rather be doing intellectual things, such as learning a new scripting language, going on wikipedia and looking at some cool things, etc., rather then running into men much larger than myself with an inflated ball in hand.
[editline]09:24PM[/editline]
Which is why I hated PE. Thank god it's an elective now.
Sport doesn't have to take up your entire life. You could just spend an hour a week doing it. Its social, keeps you fit, and I personally think its fun.

I'm trying to get faster so i can play winger because I've been a flanker for 5 years and i fancy something different :-D

hahaha hard luck dude!
I love Rugby (And I play it), I would also like to try out American Football.
Both games are very good.
Heterosexual version of american football
Rugby is a pile of horse shit.

Bradford bulls!
I feel sad to live in Bradford. :saddowns:
Who dosent play rugby at school?
I usualy play scrum half and boss everyone around

Intellectual things such as play video games and post on facepunch? Sports are great fun, and good too. Sure, keep scripting and reading stuff on wikipedia, though cause everyone can't like sports but I don't see the bad thing about them. I don't do any sport, although I used to do football and floorball when I was younger. I love Table Tennis though, great fun!
[editline]05:09PM[/editline]
Never liked Rugby or American Football though.

You can learn quite a bit from both video games and facepunch, I know quite a few people who've learned English almost entirely from games. I've been using facepunch for a few years now, I almost always read the "In the news" section daily, good source of information and puppy/kitten hate crimes. I also lurk the Hardware and software forum, I know almost everything to do with computers but every so often I stumble upon some new information.

Yes ofcourse, but you can learn and gain alot from sports too! I'm not trying to take a side here, cause I like sports and video-games equally. Both are great fun.
I play rugby and I'm a runner. One of the reasons I hate rugby though is
because half of my team mates are a bunch of self-righteous cunts and have their heads stuck up their own asses.
I play as a lock... whoo grabbing groins...
I love rugby, it's a fun sport!
Rugby is the only sport I usually watch the most, followed by ANY race competition I can watch (NASCAR, DTM, IHRA, NHRA, ANDRA, F1, American Le Mans, etc)
Rugby FTW
what do you consider a good sport? typing?
Nope fapping.
Anyhow I love rugby.
Rugby is the manly Football.
Football is the sissy's Rugby.
then you hate soccer. Rugby is boring but entertaining. But i still hate it more then cricket.
I love rugby, I play Outside-Center (13). I support Gloucester, really because I live close and i've been to see loads of the matches, it's a laugh hearing fat bald men shout obnoxiously at nothing in general.
Any of you actually played rugby league? It's incredibely hard work, fun though. But I do prefer Rugby Union, I just like the style and the way it's played.
I have watched Rugby League for about 15 years, and love it. I consider it to be more technical and skilled than Rugby Union, but that's just my opinion. I don't play (yet), as unfortunately there aren't many women's teams out there, but I am looking into setting one up at my university.
Also, Leeds Rhinos all the way! :D

We play league the odd time but i think union is better because i find it generally faster paced then league!

second row haha I'd say you're good in a maul haha!
I'm OK at Rugby. It's probably the sport I'm best at.
What I don't do:
-Rucks
-Mauls
-Be in actual teams (as in school teams thatplay other school teams)
What I do do:
-Run through everyone handing off and smashing through
-Don't stop for anything.
-Tackle well when I can be bothered
-Outsprint the sprinters just for that 50 or less metres to the finish
-Score once, ignore the game for 5-10 minues, repeat.

I hardly ever play video games anymore. I've never really found sports fun, I'd rather just run around and do stuff with friends, instead of having a fixed goal for a bunch of games I don't know how to play.
That is probably the lamest reason for not wanting to play sports.
God forbid your schools want you to see a little day light, and run once a day...
I go outside, I just don't like exerting myself for no reason whilst being judged by a teacher that doesn't teach me anything. And I go on a 20-25 minute run on a trail every second day, so don't tell me I'm out of shape, I just dislike PE.
The only thing I know about rugby is what I learned from watching "Invictus".
Looks pretty cool. Violent, though. There are more people who play it around here than people who play American Football.
I go on a 20-25 minute run on a trail every second day
That's either once a month or once a year. You mean "Every other day"
I just dislike PE.
Cuz you're lazy?
I'd rather just run around and do stuff with friends
So if you're not doing sports, you're just talking with friends?
you have to get off your butt and get more active than just talking with friends.
I don't know 1 person how hates sports except you.
Indifference.
That's either once a month or once a year. You mean "Every other day"
Yeah, that's what I meant.
Cuz you're lazy?
No, I just don't like it. Actually, I only like the doing actual sports part.
So if you're not doing sports, you're just talking with friends?

I didn't mean just talk, I meant going outside and playing (sounds childish but I can't think of any other word).
I live in America and also play openside flanker. Rugby ftw
