Bon-Jovi rhymes "back" with "back".
Maybe the joke goes deeper?

I walk these streets
A loaded six-string on my back
I play for keeps 'cause I might not make it back
I been everywhere, still, I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces
And I've rocked them all
I forgot the literary term, but Bon Jovi is rhyming homophones. Rhyming "there" with "there" in that instance is using the same meaning of the word, so its pretty ineffective.

That said, not being able to reload certain weapons on the move would be pretty annoying for a videogame, even if it would be realistic.
True on both accounts. It would be amusing the first time your guy goes to reload and the belt just falls out, but after that it'd be fucking annoying.

I saw someone in a recent Microsoft Surface thread mention they had the "wedge mouse", I've never seen one before so I had to look this up for myself:

Some of the semi automatic rifles in Verdun are like that, its pretty annoying, makes me shoot off spare rounds into the ground.
