I'm between this, an AR and the Mossberg 500... My bedside gun is a Hi-Point 45ACP. That's never given me issues...like ever, after 2000+ rounds but you can't beat the 1911. Kind of leaning towards an AR15 because of the potential assault weapons ban thanks to Odumbass.
If you've already got a reliable sidearm, I'd say go for the AR. No way of knowing where the hell the gun-economy is going to go in the coming years. You could always pick up a Rock Island later on and whatnot

Yeah the big scary assault rifles will be the first to be hit in the ban. Handguns will likely be last. My two bedside guns are reliable but I dunno, 1911 is a damn nice weapon. (Other bedside gun is a Tokarev)
ahahahahahahahahahah
theres no way hes serious with this shit.
That assertion he made is disgusting, false, ignorant, and slanderous. It shows just how little he actually knows about guns, gun culture, and gun crime.
Assertions like that are generally the best way to tell if the person actually has any knowledge about the subject. If they try to directly blame legal gun owners as the criminals, they know nothing.
I've reached the point where I ignore it. Too many people shooting off bullshit comments to deal with them all at once, then when you don't answer their comment you missed in the pile of other silly comments they say they win.
I'm only getting into gun control debates if it's a very small group where I can take all of them at once :v:
it's like 6 people arguing with the op. the pro gun control side is losing massively
Bought a 1943 Savage No.4 Mk.1* today. It's just missing the mag, so I need to pick one of those up and I've got a nice WWII Lee-Enfield to play with my 1917 SMLE

maybe, but I think he's also a regular tard
Any Canadians know about rifle ownership in Canadia?

I am the guru of Canadian guns. What do you want to know?
Sorry for the late response, was arguing about gun control.
Going to quote this again, still waiting to hear what you need.

Took the 870 out to shoot clays today, I am convinced that I should buy it now.
Also what type slug can I shoot out of a smoothbore (improved cylinder) without damaging the barrel? I'm getting mixed answers from everyone I ask.
Rifled slugs are fine. I've shot them from my 870 and my 1100
[editline]10th November 2012[/editline]
Oooh, actually. It looks like the improved cylinder tapers at the end of the barrel. That could cause a catastrophic failure...

Fun fact: the 'rifling' on a rifled slug isn't there to make the slug spin, it's so the round can deform and get past the choke
any lead slugs will swage through an improved cylinder no problem. I've shot them through a super full and it was fine
Here are some small family photos...

I'll get a better picture of my pistols later. One is in the cabinet by my front door, another is in my truck, and the other is in my hunting bag.
In the meantime, have a bow:

I've got an LMT Sopmod on there currently, so I don't think I'll be changing anytime soon.

those are fantastic stocks if you've got body armor on but goddamn they are uncomfortable on your bare shoulder
Also:
I love my browning guns, the M1911 and the Hi-Power are my best whenever I go shooting.

I've always found large magazines on Carbines/Mini-14s to be odd looking.

I've shot a few and held a few with the SOPMOD stock. It's quite comfortable to me cause its nice and thick and hugs your shoulder.

well sorry but your shoulder is shaped wrong

Yeah, I only bought them as a novelty. One of them is sized wrong. Needs to be shoved into the magwell, and yanked out. The other two seem within spec, though.

I very much enjoyed the LMT Sopmod on my AR. Great cheekweld.

I'm not sure why I would need body armor. The Sopmod has a thicker, softer recoil pad than pretty much any stock out there. I had an Moe on my Bushmaster, and the Sopmod is by far more comfortable. Not to mention, the cheekweld is superb.

your shoulder is shaped wrong too. I'll give you the thing on the cheekweld though, sopmod stocks are fantastic in that department.
Been a while since I posted a family photo, Behold my terrible photo-taking skills. My RPK would be here but shes still at the gun hospital.

Sig Sauer SG-556, Romanian AK-47, Izzy Mosin Nagant, Springfield M1A.
Isn't that Romanian AK an AKM copy, not an AK-47?
can sobotnik be any more retarded
Isn't that Romanian AK an AKM copy, not an AK-47?
99.99% of "AK-47s" will be AKM clones. It's just easier to go by the more well known designation.

If you want to be technical, it is a WASR10/63 made in Romania.
