Anyone ever tried a Geissele trigger?
So the company that was bringing Skorpions into Canada has another 100 in stock. Debating if I can justify it when there's so many other, more useful guns I could buy.
Since they're classed as a rifle you get a nice 5 rounds per magazine. I'll pass.. sure its a nice piece of history but its overly expensive for 5 rounds per magazine of .32 ACP.. can't imagine myself having fun with that.
Anyone ever tried a Geissele trigger?
only in a semi-auto. it was nice, but the full auto versions are supposedly nicer
Wow, I didn't realize shotguns were so cheap. Found a bunch of pump action shotguns for under 200 hundred. Cheaper than most .22's for that matter, but obviously ammo cost balances the equation.
12ga is pretty cheap, I think. Not as cheap as .22, sure. But still.
Scope measurements are retarded. I always thought the second number meant ocular lens size.
12ga is pretty cheap, I think. Not as cheap as .22, sure. But still.
About a dollar per round is what I found, unless I'm looking in the wrong places. I don't plan on shooting that much, so ammo cost isn't that big of a deal. More looking into home defense/just having a gun factor.

cheapest 12ga buck I know of is this. you can get bird cheaper but bird is worthless if you're not shooting birds or squirrels http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-8491 still miles more expensive than .22LR, the stuff I usually buy is around $.03 a round
Did they ever make scoped versions of De Lisles or some other silenced sniper rifles during WW2?
Did they ever make scoped versions of De Lisles or some other silenced sniper rifles during WW2?
I wouldn't call it a sniper rifle. it's just a pistol caliber carbine
I wouldn't call it a sniper rifle. it's just a pistol caliber carbine
I know that. I was asking if there were any actual sniper rifles (with suppressors), but worded it poorly
No there weren't. For 2 reasons, sniper rifles in the 2nd World War were merely accurized and scoped versions of standard infantry rifles, there was really no need for a silenced sniper rifle. Also afaik, they didn't have the technology to suppress full power rifle calibers at the time

Wish more games had the Delisle though, I love using that in HnD2 (and MOHAA:B)

More newbie questions. Would it be better to go to a gun store or buy online? And what are good sites to buy from?
More newbie questions. Would it be better to go to a gun store or buy online? And what are good sites to buy from?
I find gun stores more personal, plus you get to check out the gun before you buy it. Feels great walking into a gunshop and walking out with a new gun.
More newbie questions. Would it be better to go to a gun store or buy online? And what are good sites to buy from?
At a gun store you'd actually get to inspect whatever it is you're interested in and get a feel for it. Very important if you're buying used. Online generally has cheaper pricing (generally), and you can find some neat stuff that you might not otherwise find in an actual store. Keep in mind that buying online will require you have the weapon shipped to a FFL holder, which tacks on a shipping charge, and the FFL will more than likely charge you for doing the transfer. I'm grossly simplifying this, but that's the jist of it. Some sites you could check out include GunBroker, Bud's Gun Shop, Aim Surplus, and JG Firearms. There's more of course, but I'd start with those.
Thanks ya'll for helping me out. Appreciate it.
More newbie questions. Would it be better to go to a gun store or buy online? And what are good sites to buy from?
good rule of thumb is by used in person, by new online and always check your gun shop to see if they've got what you want in stock before you order online
and always check your gun shop to see if they've got what you want in stock before you order online
And in most cases the local shop can usually get whatever it is you want if they don't have it
Anyone know of any manufactures that still make red shelled 20gauge munition? I have a tac saddle for my Maverick 88 20g and it looks dorky with yellow shells. I can't pull anything up from google.
20ga are legally mandated to be yellow. [editline]23rd November 2012[/editline] every other gauge shell can be any color
20ga are legally mandated to be yellow. Believe they were federal ammunition's.
If you've seen red 20ga before they were very old 20ga shells.
i'm not really in the know for any ammo, so i don't know where to look for something that isn't shit and/or isn't made of platinum/diamonds. what's the general difference between standard buckshot, birdshot, and slugs? and is flechette ammo common enough to be a realistic purchase? (is it even legal?)

whoops i meant in pricing i know what the ammo actually does sorryyyyyy
