I just ordered a huge ass 16 gun safe for when mid October rolls around and supplies of rifles go up for huntin' duur and I have some disposable income to throw away.

I think I do have to assemble it though, which seems silly for a safe.

Then you're just not that smart. You're implying that he is plotting to kill someone? Please. A semi-automatic mid-caliber rifle is only useful for hunting small game. Were it fully automatic, it would be an assault rifle (assault rifles are defined as being select fire), and it'd be suited to take down the agile mid-sized mammal that is a human.

Implying that shooting isn't a sport? Besides, there are no assault rifles in that photo. None of those weapons are capable of select-fire, 1 is a bolt action sporter, 1 is a shotgun, and 2 are handguns.

Lets see here, AR15 is semi-automatic ONLY, chambered for an intermediate round, detachable magazine up to 30 rounds.

There's even a range not far from home that has CQB practice areas, restricted to handguns and .22 carbines since you can't own any other semi-auto.

Mag extension is a must, but i don't like the look of fiber optic sights. Anywhere I can get a good bayonet lug? I've got a thing for bayonets.

The old school 870 bayonet lugs run in the hundreds of dollars, as they are extremely rare. It'll likely cost more than the gun.
