I appreciate having more ammo and stuff, but unless it's duel barrel, one pump, it seems kinda redundant. Reloading takes longer [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] 20000 Russian rubles = 647.9520 US dollars For 650, you can buy a crate full of them.
You know what? I'm going to email them back and ask them if they're serious.
There has to be a translation error or something, theres no way they can sustain a business selling 20,000$ miniature firearm replicas.
You know what? I'm going to email them back and ask them if they're serious.
Seems they are either missing a decimal point, and they added a couple more zeros than needed. Or they are hard core trolling.
You know what? I'm going to email them back and ask them if they're serious.
Share the result. I gain the feeling that their English is not the best because they did not type their own email they just simply altered mine and added their 1 word responses.
I want this shotgun despite its price. Too bad shotguns are limited to two shots here.
That is pretty sexy. Hickok45 has the uncanny ability to make me want a gun I had no desire to own before he makes a video of it. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Took my parents to the range today. Put 100rds through my dad's M&P 9 Shield, then put about 80rds through the M1 carbine, about 150rds through the AK-74 and finally rented an M1 Garand with 3 clips. The Kobra on the AK still needs to be sighted in some more. But the Garand was a blast!
That is pretty sexy. Hickok45 has the uncanny ability to make me want a gun I had no desire to own before he makes a video of it.
That's because his cameraman gets up close and personal with guns, and he demonstrates all the inner/outer workings of the thing. It's pretty much gun porn.
Share the result. I just shot off a message asking them if they really mean $20,000/20.000USD (twenty-thousand USD).
That's because his cameraman gets up close and personal with guns, and he demonstrates all the inner/outer workings of the thing. By the time I realized the video was 26 minutes long I was already at 16 minutes but I just couldn't stop watching.
Going to visit a few friends later on tomorow, apparently one has recently acquired a Gepard AMR, I think it could be bullshit, although this is the same guy that came to a clayshoot with a Protecta.
Selling my SIG tomorrow evening. Picking up a .308 Garand next weekend.
I really want a mosin. I have a 50, but not a mosin. Any suggestions on which kind to get? Looking for a fun, hard hitting plinker :v:
I really want a mosin. I have a 50, but not a mosin. Any suggestions on which kind to get? Looking for a fun, hard hitting plinker :v:
I kind of wish I had the carbine, it looks like it'd be easier to store and more fun to shoot because it's shorter, IMO.
Is barrel bent in half? Does gun look like it at least from not peasant manufacture facility?
I saw one at my LGS that had a very nice stock and was marked 1950-something... Wasn't a full bodied stock, but a carbine-type thing.
I kind of wish I had the carbine, it looks like it'd be easier to store and more fun to shoot because it's shorter, IMO.
You also have to have the bayonet on if you want to fire it accurately, since they designed it like that because of soviet doctrine involving mandatory bayonets.
I really want a mosin. I have a 50, but not a mosin. Any suggestions on which kind to get? Looking for a fun, hard hitting plinker :v:
I own a Russian M91/30(1942), a Polish M44(1952), and a Finnish M27 (hex receiver, 1932). My favorite by far is the M44. It's easier to clean and store, it's lighter and easier to shoot. Has a bit more recoil but it has a massive and awesome muzzle flash. If you want to look for a mosin, just make sure the barrel isn't pitted to hell, it still has rifling, and the bolt actually cycles. If all that is there and the stock doesn't have a bunch of cracks in it, all you need is a few spam cans and you're good to go.
I have a 1935 Tula 91/30 with a hex receiver, matching numbers, beautiful stock, and no pitting, and I love it. However, I do want to get an M44 or an M38 sometime down the road just to have a carbine.
There are only 2 Mosins I have interest in, a pre-1900 M91, and a Finn M39. I have other rifles that fill the role of an M38/M44 too well to justify getting one
Holy fucking shit, he's serious :v: How does he sell any of these?
He is also rude. You should tell him that I don't question Swiss Watches because they aren't useless miniaturization of something that can be had in full size, full working order, for 200 USD max. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] If I want to buy from the loony gun store owner near my house.

Just me or was that response a little snarky? Dunno seems like a jerk to me. edit: ninja'd
I just apologized and told him that I thought there was an issue in translation :v: Still, how the fuck does he manage to stay in business selling non-firing replicas for $20,000?
Well 20k is like a million bucks in "Former Soviet Republic"-stan he lives in. Rent ain't high on Cardboard houses.

He is attempting to compare his models to fine watches but the reason why people would buy a Rolex is for the brand recognition and the social status that is associated with it whereas his models are seldom seen and I doubt anyone is going to start wearing them as some sort of bastardized fashion accessory.
Just me or was that response a little snarky? Dunno seems like a jerk to me. edit: ninja'd
I can see why, he asked the question in a manner that could be seen as rude, the use of the word "honestly" in that sentence can convey a bit of offence.
I don't think I could even justify spending $20k on a real gun...
I don't think I could even justify spending $20k on a real gun...
The only way I'd spend that much is if it were an automatic or a Howitzer or something.
I could buy a full auto MG42, tax stamp and all, for less than that model... [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline]
The only way I'd spend that much is if it were an automatic or a Howitzer or something.
Well I mean I'd spend $20k on a 105mm Howitzer if it still worked.
lets all tell him hes a retard or let /k/ know
