Not sure if I want to know you or not now.
Don't know if the firearms thread will be open to discussion of air rifles, but that's all I can really own right now.
So yeah, looking to get a Weihrauch HW57 in .22 with Scope and mounts for around £320.
Always shot air rifles, but all I have right now is some shitty little Chinese underlever. Still does the trick. Apparently the Scottish government are thinking about instating a license for an air rifle (seriously) so I'm keen to get one before.

Found a Model 1897 Shotgun at a local store that's in pretty great condition for $250. Think it'd be a good buy?

that's a great price for an 1897
speaking of odd-er guns, i would love a webley revolver one day
Nobody wants to discuss air rifles then?
Please don't make me resort to taking it to the airsoft forum.
air guns? i prefer water guns
Nobody wants to discuss air rifles then?

there isn't a whole lot to discuss with air rifles. nearly everything either absolutely belongs in the airsoft forum or is so incredibly niche that nobody here knows anything about thim
Suppose so, just thought that many firearms owners would own a few air rifles as well.
Fuck I wish I could own the same shit as you guys, as soon as I get my Petroleum Engineering qualification I'm moving to the USA.
Everyone is out of stock for Mosin Nagants.
Someone smack the panic button.

I own a cheap-o Ruger Airhawk, and considering the cost of certain Air Rifle platforms, it would be cheaper to buy a 10/22 with a larger magazine then to buy something like a Benjamin Marauder.
I do own a few air rifles but they're certainly not firearms. Guns, yes; weapons, maybe.
I don't own any interesting big bore air rifles though, just a red ryder and a powerline 880
I might buy or build a big bore airgun, I've seen people take bears with them so that's pretty cool
I personally want to own a Girandoni Air Rifle. 115 ft-lb with an .46 Lead Ball.
Air rifles are pretty popular in Australia because you can get air rifles as powerful as .22lr rifle, while being semi-automatic. Pretty cool, downside though is they cost upwards of $2000

can we fucking not do this again
Also, where the fuck can I get cheap pistol cleaning patches? The ones at my local shop cost about 5$ for a small fucking pack and I'm assuming you can get them in bulk for a better deal.

Wal Mart (Or similar chain superstore)... or online if you really want.

Take an old bedsheet and/or t-shirt and cut it up, that's what I do.
Since we're on the subject of gun maintenance, I can't seem to find any gun cleaning oils (ie. Ballistol, Hoppe's #9) in my country.
What can I use instead?, WD40?, Liquid Wrench?

to me
The less expensive items in our collection - revolvers - are 15000 USD a piece. Semi-auto pistols are 18000USD. Assault rifles - from 35000 USD.
I'm pretty sure this dood sells to Russian gangsters and people in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

I just... what?
Why would you not put a proper buttstock on that, instead of frankensteining it like that? Also, wouldn't the front grip make racking it a bit... awkward?
I mean, it is a shotgun, right? I can hardly tell :v:

It's a pump-action .223 rifle. We aren't allowed semi-autos down here, so that's the best we can get.

To settle this once and for all, there you go. That's why they charge as much as they do.
