The old school 870 bayonet lugs run in the hundreds of dollars, as they are extremely rare. It'll likely cost more than the gun. Looks like this company makes a simple mag clamp mount, though... http://sjhardware.com/store/modules.php?name=catalog&file=product_info&cPath=107_121&products_id=316
I've got an old KCB-M70 lying around, so that seems worth it. Anything else?
I might need to urge my Dad to buy a nice pump action 12ga, my mother is moving out and I'm gonna be in my house, alone from 3 PM to 9 PM I only own a Nugget and .22lr target pistol Should I try and find a cheap Moss 500? Pre-2007 Rem. 870? Suggestions, please.
;_;
I browse this thread every other day, the old wooden rifles people buy are nice but when people buy 4 assault rifles it bugs me. Not even slightly trolling.
Oh silly United Nations, aren't fooling us today :v: But on a serious note... Anyone had any experience with tannerite? I have yet to give the stuff a try. Seems fun.
Hahaha, that is ridiculous. You cannot tell me that those are for sport or a hobby.. why would you evn need that many assault rifles?
God dam trolls, they aren't even "assault rifles" they aren't fully automatic. Fucking jackass. Also, I actually use the top AR-15 for 3 gun as well as the Mossberg 930, and Glock 17 in the picture. The bottom AR-15 (chambered in 5.45 for cheaper ammo) and the 22/45 I use for cheap practice. So yes, I do use them for sport and the sporterized Nagant my my takes out to hunt with. Just buy a little and use it next time you shoot out in the desert or non range. Prob lose interest with it after a few uses. [editline]1st October 2012[/editline]
It's a troll. Was just checking out the local funshop for a shotfun and I found a police trade-in 870 that was pretty cool. They wanted $238 for it, and I'm gonna pick it up next weekend probably.
Not bad, you can never go wrong buying an 870 used. Except when people put a ton of useless shit on there.
;_;
I have no experience with shotguns, but I doubt you'd need much for a home defense shotgun. http://www.classicfirearms.com/long-guns/savage-model-310-pump-12-gauge-shotgun just throwin it out there.
i made this thread a song that's me trying to fix my mosin with a hammer and 12 bar blues in the background also drunk solo
Woohoo two weeks until the gun show comes round to my area. There's a cover charge though.. Dumb.
just leave him so what neat aftermarket things should i get for the soon-to-be-mine shotfun? it's an 870 so i guess there's a lot of shit
If your into magpul stuff they have some neat stock options for the 870... linkage: http://store.magpul.com/product/MAG460/shotgun

Anyone had any experience with tannerite? I have yet to give the stuff a try. Seems fun.
it's cool until you look at how much money you just spent in targets [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] for home defense a red dot will really help, you can't see your sights all that well in the dark
just leave him so what neat aftermarket things should i get for the soon-to-be-mine shotfun? it's an 870 so i guess there's a lot of shit
Getting a Red Dot on your shotgun helps with getting a quicker sight picture in the event of a defense situation. It's also good in the event you have shitty sights that refuse to be spot on.
Any suggestions on the conversion?
Been digging around, but I'd really like to know what you guys suggest.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/5vgiQ.jpg[/img_thumb] Sounds like a pretty good idea, but why would they let students have firearms for shooting lessons when school-based police officers can't take their sidearm to the school?
Saw Looper yesturday, I thought those BFR's were pretty darn cool I usually shoot .45 LC or .454 casull out of my dad's snub nose ranging bull, I wouldn't mind trying out 45-70 in one of these babys

If so, good onya, 'bout time they tried to educate kids out of the bullshit they've been pumping down there, just wish this could happen here in Toronto. Of course the police chiefs will oppose it, it's their jobs to do so; they're not public servants, they're politicians, it's disgusting.
Finally getting around to posting this picture. My Colt LE6920: YHM Phantom RC1 Flash Suppressor Knight's Armament RAS Knight's Armament VFG Viking Tactics Light Mount Surefire 6P LED Original Aimpoint CompM3 2 MOA Aimpoint QRP2 Mount ARMS #40 BUIS Bravo Company Black Teflon Magazines with Magpul Followers I was dabbling with some different slings, but I finally decided a one point was my best option. my small collection [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_06252.JPG[/img_thumb] saw these beauties at the gunshow especially the OD furniture, i was lucky enough to see and handle and original ar-10 but i forgot to take pics [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_0610.JPG[/img_thumb]
Oooh tell me about your enfield! I think I spy a magazine cutoff slot, must be an early one. [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Also, I saw a couple original civvie AR15s at the gunshow I attended last weekend, but they were out of my price range :C [editline]2nd October 2012[/editline] Also, also, I don't remember if I posted this before, but I know some of you guys are mosin fans. I saw this Remington M91 at the show over the weekend. I've seen it the past couple times and I'm thinking about picking it up if it's still there next time. When I was in high school my PE teacher asked fr sport suggestions, I suggested Skeet Shooting. He said while it would be a good thing to do, it would be a political nightmare for the school if someone in the media got a hold of that. I'm in South Australia Anyway, that article is so fucking sensationalist. At this rate though, Queensland might revert their firearms laws, problem is though, everyone hate the current QLD leaders and it it might cause some negative publicity for Shooters

If I don't have a CCW, is it ok for me to transport handgun from gun shop to my vehicle? I would transport the handgun in its packaging without ammo. But I'm not sure if that's legal. I'd hate the nightmare scenario of cop stopping me as soon as I step into the parking lot, asking to see a CCW permit that I dont have. I live in Texas is that helps.

You also need to go straight to that location. No stops for gas or other things.

There is also no restriction on it being loaded is well, it just needs to be concealed in the vehicle. Also, as long as you are carrying it to your vehicle, you can conceal it on your person, even without a concealed handgun permit. This is only in Texas of course. If I can get it for <$300 I will definitely buy it. The guy was asking $400, but it's got a mismatched bolt, and it's missing the rear sight slider, and I have no idea about the barrel condition. So hopefully I'll be able to talk him down.
i kinda want an AR do you all hate me now
