it's still something really special
That one, isn't really that rare. It's had it's stock replaced, handguard added, import marked, and is in all around p. beat up condition. He had another one that still has the original Remington walnut stock with the eagle cartouche, all matching, no import mark, but it's $1000.
Not that I don't like it because it's beat up and has parts replaced, but from a collecting standpoint, $400 is too much.
7.62x54r.net rates Remington Mosins at a 5/10 for rarity.

Browning Hi-Power
Most Hi-Powers that I see though are around the ~$800 area, which is a bit out of my price range. I'm looking at $300 or lower.

Bulgarian Makarov or a P38
TT-33 or CZ-82
Bulgarian Makarov or a P38
Can I get a link to a sub $300 P38?
Definitely on my list is TT-33 and clones, Mak and clones, and anything CZ. Does anyone make revolvers (preferably .357 or .44, although .38 special is acceptable) for <$400?

Sounds like a pretty good idea, but why would they let students have firearms for shooting lessons when school-based police officers can't take their sidearm to the school?
Weird. The police department for my school in the US can carry pistols and only pistols. No tasers.
well since i wont be shunned if i get an AR, i honestly dont know shit about AR's whats a good brand or somewhere to start?
Found the final 3 for my birthday present this year. Which will give me the most reliable bang for my buck?

I'd stay away from that mac-10 type of thing. The rifle and revolver look really nice though. I don't know what prices are for ammunition for .357 and .223 is around there but I think I'd get the revolver.

Yeah, whatever that first thing is, it's ugly as shit.
I'll probably get the Handi-Rifle since my grandpa already has a .357 revolver.

Get the H&R. Good company, reliable guns.

So how many of you are excited for this?
Also if anyone knows what it's called, what is the name of those stocks that are metal that have knobs to adjust the cheek rest, trigger pull and etc.?
Holy fuck!
I've always wanted a TAR-21, finally~
They didn't include the attached red dot sight?

Are there any videos of left handed people shooting bullpup rifles?
Just wondering, since wouldn't the casings fly into their face?

Noveske, LaRue, KAC, Colt, Daniel Defense, and LMT are top of the line.
Stag Arms, RRA, S&W, Bushmaster, Olympic Arms, Double Star, and Century are great budget guns.
Stay away from anything with DPMS on it. There are a few good ones out there, but I've seen way too many bad to recommend them.
This is what I have: http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/36_140/products_id/7000/Colt+LE6920+Carbine+Semi-Auto+223+Rem5.56+NATO+16%22+20%2B1

Don't worry so much about brands. Most brands are more or less the same quality.
Look more for features you want, but can also afford. Also, remember that you can replace a cheap upper with a better one in the future.
well i wont be able to afford one for a while being poor and all. but i can pick out a real good one
my friend picked up a bushmaster m16a2 GI style and its really fucking sweet, made me want one
Since I'm going to get the Handi-Rifle, what's a nice cheap scope to go with it?
[editline]2nd October 2012[/editline]
For clarification, the gun is only going to be used at a range. I never hunt, and if I start, I'd probably get a nicer rifle.
Can I get a link to a sub $300 P38?
Local shops. One near me has one for $310 with holster & mag.
