like I said, range toy. 2 double feeds and 3 jams isn't bad enough to not want one [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] double feeds aren't even the magazine's fault a lot of the time and jams could have been the ammo
http://www.amazon.com/Howard-Leight-R-01526-Electronic-Earmuff/dp/B001T7QJ9O Should I get these for Christmas? I'm tired of pulling out waxy ear plugs after shooting for 3 hours
couldn't hurt too bad at that price
like I said, range toy. 2 double feeds and 3 jams isn't bad enough to not want one [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] double feeds aren't even the magazine's fault a lot of the time and jams could have been the ammo
Well, some how the front of the magazine had slipped down while in the weapon and one of the round's wasn't back all the way to the back of the mag and it tried shoving in both rounds at once. It is a nice range toy after you break it in according to my neighbor, it was just the first day he had them. [editline]11th December 2012[/editline] Also we were shooting Federal and Tula ammo which worked fine in his pmags, just not in this thing until he broke them in.
And this is why you don't steal a guys gun http://www.texashuntingforum.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3819481/1
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MAG-085# these could be pretty nice range toys
Damn. Those things used to be like $40. Seventh Circuit Appellate Court just struck down the IL Concealed Carry Ban... pretty sweet for you Illinois guys.
Now let's get out some popcorn and see what the Chicago politicians have to say.
I've got a bottle of Sake reserved for the 21st. Unsure if I should use part of it to celebrate today.
maybe if sake didnt suck you should save it
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Time to get my dad to buy some sort of compact handgun to conceal in the car or something.
I did that with my first batch of .308. Crimped it so hard the case necks cracked upon firing. [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] Speaking of....
Is that .308's in an M1 Garand?
Is that .308's in an M1 Garand?
he's got a rebarreled M1
Is that .308's in an M1 Garand?
Yeah, I got one with a .308 barrel in it.
Yeah, I got one with a .308 barrel in it.
Okay...I have no problem with this, I can accept your...your ammo preference...AAAAAHHH HERESEY!!!!
Okay...I have no problem with this, I can accept your...your ammo preference...AAAAAHHH HERESEY!!!!
.308 is cheaper to shoot and commercial .30-06 will ruin an M1
Just say it's This Machine and it's all good.
It isn't too hard to get surplus military stuff. then again, my dad is the king of finding gun shit, so it might be harder where you live.
.308 is cheaper to shoot and commercial .30-06 will ruin an M1
I hear they'll take most 150gr .30-06 no problem, and that Remington UMC and Hornady M1 Garand Match .30-06 are both made to be M1 friendly.
i wish all m1's were in .32
i really wanna remake this but in 7.62x54r designer guns, for a better tomorrow
Mmmmmmm I love me some MP45 [editline]11th December 2012[/editline] If you rechamber you have to do 8mm Mauser over inferior communist rimmed cartridge. Superior German race weep with disgust
no soviet cartridge is superior in numbers silly 8mm non-rimmed cartridge is fool's gold
It isn't too hard to get surplus military stuff. then again, my dad is the king of finding gun shit, so it might be harder where you live.
It's easier to walk into a gun store or walmart and buy 2 or 3 boxes of 308, rather than buy surplus military stuff from the Ukraine and wait a month for it to get here. Hell, the surplus 7.62x51mm I ordered for my M1A a few months back came from Pakistan.
is it bad that I really like this? [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f8/Fass57-diag.jpg[/t]
RR_raptor, how goes the wood stock for your AR-15?
I have just purchased a Smith Corona 1903A3 for 100 bucks. Stock was spergorized but I'm willing to invest to bring this rifle to its former glory. Only some small surface rust on the sights and the rest is perfect. Anyone have any sources on full 1903 stocks? I can handle final shaping if finished sources cant be had.
numrich arms... http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ look through their sight, they should have most everything you could need.
