I heard you Americans were getting all of the leased weapons back from Sth. Korea
I thought the whole point of leasing something was finally buying the damn thing
I thought the whole point of leasing something was finally buying the damn thing
Nope, a lease is a long term rental. Like you can lease an apartment for a year, or a car for several years.
a lot of people lease cars because it's cheaper and they don't anticipate having the car forever
Was it more common for the MP40 to have a black handguard or a brown one?
early war they were black, later they were bakelite
I want them to release some of them up to us Canadians too, since I heard the US was reluctant, especially on the M1 Carbines. Hell, we could use a huge influx of both to bring costs down, Carbines are $700 and Garands $2000 for a good, but rebuilt, one, we need something to bring the market cost down.
You canadians get enough cool guns cheaper than us.
We gotta have some kind of compensation for only being able to own about half as many as you guys can.
I'll trade you a Garand for a G36K.
I'll trade you a Garand for a FAMAS.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=320328515 Here you go, one an American can own, only need 13k [editline]14th December 2012[/editline] And you changed your post
All I want for Christmas is [del]my two front teeth[/del] a glock 32, a glock 32... (Only gun I could think of that would rhyme...)
We (Illinois) were going to receive a ton of Garands for the civilian marksmanship program, and then they would be distributed around the country. Obama had them destroyed. He was still a statesman at the time.
a lot of people lease cars because it's cheaper and they don't anticipate having the car forever
Plus it is nice having a new car every 3 years, just saying.
a lot of people lease cars because it's cheaper and they don't anticipate having the car forever
Yes, but at the end of the leasing period you get an offer to buy the car for a very low price. It's always preferable that the client keeps the car for a low payment so you don't have to sell it later with all the costs it implies.
I have an odd problem. I want to buy a Mosin but I can't find any near where I live OR where I go to school. I could buy online, but I'd rather not pay an extra half again on the price of the gun in FFL fees, and a Mosin isn't something I'd trust to buy 'blind'. I wouldn't think they'd be this hard to track down. Do they pop up in pawn shops?

If all else fails, buds has some "very good" condition mosins in stock atm. They're a little pricey, so use it as a last resort Buds

This piece of junk will cost you 4.5 times as much.

Was thinking what the fuck type of sight system is that
I'll trade you a Garand for a G36K.
The latter is banned here, so no luck. [editline]13th December 2012[/editline]
Oh god that is dirt, dirt cheap for my country's standards. This piece of junk will cost you 4.5 times as much.
Probably about as much as it's worth here, but only about 100,000 people can legally own it since it's prohibited.
Looks like a finnish gunshop just got a load of .22 UZI pistols made by Umarex. I didn't even know these kind of things existed :v: Anyways, selling those must be a burden. Anyone sane who can have a handgun license probably wouldn't waste one on these. Oh, they are 429€, ~560 USD.
I'd never buy an umarex firearm
I find it kinda funny that Umarex owns Walther, a gun maker renowned for quality bought out by an airgun maker renowned for cheap crap.
I find it kinda funny that Umarex owns Walther, a gun maker renowned for quality bought out by an airgun maker renowned for cheap crap.
I'd never buy a Walther either.
I find it kinda funny that Umarex owns Walther, a gun maker renowned for quality bought out by an airgun maker renowned for cheap crap.
I don't think Umarex owns Walther, they do own a lot of licenses for replicas of their firearms, and using their name.
I do want the Umarex MP7, but that's because as soon as the army got the MP7 they went all "Hey, this shit is pretty good, let's ban it for civilians" But it isn't large enough to go as a hunting weapon, nor is it fitting for any sport, so I doubt I'll ever get one in this country.
Mp7 is garbage you don't want one
Let's all cheer for proprietary ammunition. I do agree on the ban for Civilians though, I mean, the caliber was kinda designed to pierce bulletproof vests. I wouldn't mind it in 9mm or some other caliber though.
