*sees people claiming Obama wants to take away our guns *facepalms repeatedly
Three mass shootings in the past few months, and each time, the media and everyone flips their shit about an AWB or gun ban in general. It happened once before, and it could happen again. I'm not saying he will take them away, but keep us from getting them. It's his second term in office, and he could go ham and do whatever he wants.
What I hate most about situations like this is how people just say "gun control" like it's some magic, all-powerful concept that will fix gun-related crime in the US. They just call for more gun control. It'll stop shootings, they say. But nobody ever says how. It's always "This is the problem, this is the solution. Now let's do it." But calling gun control a solution is like calling engineering the reason bridges still stand. Yes, that's a valid answer, but like how there are specific ways to make a bridge stable, there are different methods of gun control, and nobody ever seems to propose a valid solution. It's just "guns cause deaths."
*sees people claiming Obama wants to take away our guns *facepalms repeatedly
I don't know if he wants to take away guns, but gun control has definitely been part of his administrative policy. his administration has repeatedly said they want to re-enact the AWB. At least the shooting wasn't in Canada. Phew.
Hey, I have an idea: Fuck the second amendment. Let's just collectively decide that an amendment in the bill of rights intended to allow the easy organization of Militias is less important than the lives of all of these dead children and theater goers and high school students and mall shoppers.
This is pretty much what it boils down to, they just fear guns. People fear what they do not know. His ignorance is cemented by the fact that he uses the 1st Amendment as a venue to support getting rid of the 2nd.
I'm just ignoring it. It's already devolved into insults (though Kopimi and I have a history.) Like usual. If they really cared about talking about gun control, they'd quit arguing semantics and make a thread in Mass Debate. Because it's kind of hilarious how nobody cares about gun control until a shooting happens.
one time I got banned for calling out kopimi on his shit posting and constant use of ad hominem so he's definitely sucking someone off
Alright guys- will be making my purchase for my new lower in the next hour. Agree for a Seekins, Informative for Mega.
*sees people claiming Obama wants to take away our guns *facepalms repeatedly
We're not paranoid, we're just speculating. There will never come an administration that will actually try and take our guns away, but there might come one again that makes it harder for us to get our hands on guns. @Kman I say the seekins because it looks pretty awesome. no clue on which one performs better though.
one time I got banned for calling out kopimi on his shit posting and constant use of ad hominem so he's definitely sucking someone off
There was a time both of us were members of Darkland Servers, and I was part of the staff at Darkland, and he was consistently a pain in the ass to everyone. I don't know how he gets away with it. I banned him several times from Darkland and every time he came back, never learned his lesson, and stirred up shit. @Kman - I love the look of the Seekins. That foregrip. I don't know if it's reliable or not, but damn I like how it looks.
So I finally got to see the spam cans of Mosin Nagant ammo at my friend's house. He still has yet to shoot it since he 1) joined a club only this month and 2) hasn't had time. His gun is kind of a Frankenstein (most of the parts are from the original gun but some aren't). I guess his firing pin was part of a cossack's rifle at one point (they stamp it or something). He knows quite a shitload about the stuff and has posters of the Mosin and a Nagant revolver (he wants the revolver too hehe). I guess the revolver is the only silence-able revolver because of the way its ammo is shaped / how the gun works. I'm sure most of this thread knows that though. Holy shit, that's fascinating. I already knew how silencers worked but seeing a cutout of several of them is just plain cool.
Do they work through internal diaphragms? Or are those just dissipation chambers?
Look to be dissipation chambers.
I've always been kinda like weird feeling about the Vector. I mean, that barrel just looks too tiny for a decent smg.

It actually feels pretty good in hand, but the price is outlandish for what it does.
I understand its purpose and I get what it's for, I'm sure it does what it's advertised as, a controllable 45 cal smg. The 4 inch barrel in a full sized package just kinda boggles my mind.
Can't wait 'tillmy birthday. getting a Nice Mc Nugget meal.

TBH, I wouldn't mind at least getting to shoot it once. They make a civilian model with a longer barrel.

Not a very practical weapon for a civilian though, a really expensive range toy more than anything else.
shhh secret
Don't waste your money, if you buy any of the doofus' in SH a title, you're stooping to their level. Just look at the title the dipshits gave me after I stated freedom of speech shouldn't be nullified because what you say is offensive. Don't stoop to their level please.
Go buy yourself a drink and revel in the fact that you aren't a bumbling dicktard.

So, there's this particularly large dog by my house that keeps harassing my cat and in general just being an asshat to anyone in a 300 foot radius, we've attempted several forceful negotiations with our neighbors and even shot the thing with my red rider a few times, but the dumb motherfucker keeps coming back, so.. Question: I realize that your typical .22 is good for small game like rabbits, foxes and shit, but would a .22 LR be powerful enough to take down a dog say 75ish pounds with a few shots? Or would we have better luck just getting a shotgun?
