I'd want the QBU-88. I like the longer design.
How much would a set-up like this cost?
According to my MidwayUSA.com receipts; Press: $90 Stand: $60 Turret: $13 Primer feed: $20 Powder measure: $35 Powder feed die: $11 308 die set: $33 ~$262 + shipping + components (brass, bullets, powder, primers)
I'd want the QBU-88. I like the longer design.
The Type 88 Sniper? I know a place in Canada that sells them, not sure where you're from though.
The Type 88 Sniper? I know a place in Canada that sells them, not sure where you're from though.
I'm in Florida, gonna be moving to Canada in a year and a half though.
Valdosta? North Georgia here
roughly 30 minutes west of Valdosta, p sure theres another guy that browses this thread up near you though.

I need a new hobby anyways, might as well stockpile ammo in the process
I'm in Florida, gonna be moving to Canada in a year and a half though.
Hope you don't have any guns you plan on taking with you, you need a license for all of them, and chances are if it's a fun gun in the US, it's banned here.
This should be good for about 15 minutes of fun...
How much does it wind up costing you per round when you reload? [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] Also, how many reloads per brass?
How much does it wind up costing you per round when you reload? [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] Also, how many reloads per brass?
Depends on how do the load is. Hot loads will get about 5, softer loads 10+
How much does it wind up costing you per round when you reload? [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] Also, how many reloads per brass?
I don't really pay too much attention to unit cost. I know it's cheaper than buying a box of it, and I'm only loading so I can keep plinking at the range.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
I like them. If you aren't using them for home defense, keep them in a locker/safe/case so people who shouldn't have them don't.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
I think owning one is handy if you have people in your house that shouldn't get a hold of them, or have people constantly visiting that shouldn't get a hold of them. But if you're living alone or with people who know not to fuck around with firearms, then it's not really a must, trigger locks will do the job just as well for a lot less. The fireproof safes are also handy if you're paranoid about your house burning down.
I'd always have a fireproof safe for guns and guitars.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
I keep all my guns except for my HD gun locked up when Im not using them And since the HD gun is a Sub 2000 I keep it folded in a drawer so no one could hurt them self with it
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
I've considered purchasing one for the household. Mainly because we got kids running around, and even though they have some understanding of safety procedures, I don't want anyone getting whacked on the head by an old rifle. All my ammo though[aside from one or two bullets of each caliber for gun discussion], is usually put up and locked in a container to ensure safety. I also keep the magazines for my Makarov in my dresser.
From SH (go figure)
Fuck hunters at this point, we don't need to hunt for food anymore anyway. In my opinon: ban all large weapons, if you're into hunting with AK-47's, it's time to get a real hobby, or just use bolt-action Winchesters like a real man. [editline]16th December 2012[/editline] One handgun/bold-action rifle per household allowed, a shit-ton of paperwork if you want two for a large family, that's it.
I can't fathom how a person can talk out their ass when their head is shoved so far up it.
I believe we have 4 gun debate threads going on right now, at the same time.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
Our safes are bolted to the wall, the ground and eachother. So I'm feeling pretty safe about our guns.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
having to own one? no. nothing wrong with choosing to own one
I actually don't have any of my guns locked up. I just have the mags and ammo locked up in a spam can.
Looks like we've got another debate brewing in Sensationalist Headlines. I do have one quick question, though: How do you guys feel about having to own a locker or a safe?
Already have like three of them, and there's still guns coming out of the walls.
As someone who currently does not own a safe, I have zero problem with requiring people to keep their guns secured. I am willing to concede that, as not only is it safer, but it's also a logical investment for what could be a considerable amount of property value.
Mother of God. Sobotnik is being a gigantic twat and making huge, sweeping generalizations.
