Oh I forgot, if you head over to the oify you'll find Sobotnik has created a delightful thread for us
That was my first time in the OIFY in a while. Oh boy.
Sadly your program makes buying/owning guns seem fun, glamorous, even normal

With Discovery shows like 'Sons of Guns', 'American Guns', 'Ted Nugent's Gun Country' etc it's not surprising how guns r seen as acceptable
Sigh.
Dont know if He made fun of me but just in case: Have fun with that.
this is about 100 times more brilliant when you realize that's a red ryder
wait wait wait wait, theres a show on discovery called "Ted Nugent's Gun Country"? That sounds hilarious, is it any fun to watch?
I'm really considering doing an AK build. How hard would it be if I just started out with one of these? http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-amp-action-parts/receivers/one-piece-receivers/akm-ak-74-receiver-prod45244.aspx I've built tons AR's, but not an AK yet.
It's a wad of stamped metal, a tad less complex than an AR.
I'm fucking Honored you like it. BTW that's a one-of-a-kind millenium edition.

Classic Firearms sells them for, like, $50.
Well I'm like the dog doing chemistry because I've never built one before- I have no idea what I'm doing :v: I'm learning slowly, but I really would like to build an AK. I've got a ton of 5.45x39, but no ak.
Eh, just kinda jam things in places they look like they'll go, the AK gods will figure it out from there.
this is about 100 times more brilliant when you realize that's a red ryder
I thought it was a PPSH 22 LR... Dafuq is wrong with me?
IIRC, all you need is to know how to rivet things, and a shit ton of vodka. If a drunk russian in an hospital can design one, an American can build one.
wait wait wait wait, theres a show on discovery called "Ted Nugent's Gun Country"? That sounds hilarious, is it any fun to watch?
Not really, IMO.

I'm going to go off the current discussion and see what people are willing to admit. We can all agree we were completely newbs to guns at some point in our lives. Name a goof up you made regarding a gun(s), or something you thought was right about guns, but was completely wrong. My first gun was a pump BB gun of course. You could load BBs into a compartment from the side, and chamber them by pulling back on the charging handle. This gun also shot .177 pellets. What I didn't know at the time was, you didn't dump the .177 pellets into the compartment like the BBs....lol

Also was understanding that an AR-15 was chambered in 30-06. All of this I learned from my brilliant brother at a young age.

And I foolishly sold an Enfield that I had bought for 100 bucks.
I had a spring airsoft gun and I didn't know that things ricoched so I hit the edge of the plastic BB trap and it came back and hit me in the leg, hurt pretty bad since I was about 10. I did have eye pro on though.
So, who's laughing off 2012 but still keeping their weapon nearby all day?
So, who's laughing off 2012 but still keeping their weapon nearby all day?
Armed with my trusty Daisy Red Ryder(tm) I will be able to defend my household from would-be attackers lacking eye-protection. (and scare off some Englishmen lacking ballsacks...)
I want to sit on my porch in my trench coat, ushanka, gas mask, and double-barrel, but not sure how that would end up for me.
I think I'll dig up the MRE's in the back yard to have a nice last meal.
So, who's laughing off 2012 but still keeping their weapon nearby all day?
I went out today and bought a box of .40S&W and a box of .410 shells for the supposed apocalypse. will be running a glock 22 and an NEF break action .410. going to ravage anyone who tries to steal my shit
So, who's laughing off 2012 but still keeping their weapon nearby all day?
Here in Assachusetts, we'll be ready to survive the apocalypse with our ten round mags! Except I'm not 21 yet, so fuck. Help me
it's pretty good, ted nugent has a lot of good ideas when it comes to politics
I remember him implying that if Obama won, he'd shoot him.
Oh SHIT, brb finding my Red Ryder. Gonna tac that bitch out, put some tapco on it.
I feel bad for anyone dumb enough to break into my house on the 21st.
"Senator Dianne Fienstien (D-CA) has vowed to introduce new legislation banning a variety of guns including the .223 Bushmaster."
