You can buy these things at most anywhere, they're called bags. With Magazines, Iunno, would take like a second and a half to change it out.

For the patrol at least, that seems to the retail price, at least in my area. For custom parts and custom engraving, that would definitely be the gun I'd pick up. SG 556's are great rifles, I love mine to death.

Yeah, the patrol is equivalent to MSRP, but it is not a standard 556. The ones that Destiny commissioned have a quad rail system, aperture flip up sights instead of diopter, magpul collapsible stock instead of the swiss style, magpul pistol grip, and come with a PMAG instead of a STANAG, as well as the custom engraving, and it is in dark earth. I consider that to be a pretty good price. I am probably going to end up getting the 556 Patrol, and the AR-10 that my troop is commissioning.

Thats really kick ass, while I'm not a fan of dark earth or magpul stocks, I'd definitely go with one of the SG 556's.

That is my intention. I also want one of the handguns, but to be completely honest, I don't know shit about handguns. I have heard that the P226 is a great pistol, but the P250 is cheaper and comes with a ton of caliber change kits that you can get. I am not sure about the 1911 either.

YMMV, but I am not a fan of the sig 1911... just my opinion. On the flip side one of my all time favorite guns ever is the p226. I can't think of a more classy 9mm... what is the price they gave you for a 226?

I got a p225 (slightly smaller p226, but single stack) and I really enjoy it. I'd put my money on the p226 personally.

From what I've seen, which is speculative at best, it would be more restrictive than the old one, or any other ban currently in effect.

Nothings confirmed, and we know very little. But from what I have read I'd expect a repeat of the 1994 AWB.

There is still a lot of speculation, but some of the main Dems proposing the ban have already spoken on what they want done. They are calling for a ban on all semi-automatic rifles, handguns, and shotguns that can accept detachable magazines, and any guns with fixed magazines that can hold over 10-rounds. Only certain hunting rifles would be exempt from this ban. So far, these are the only specifics they have given.

I never said the people proposing the bans were using logic. However, Congress has shown the side of reason more than once on this exact issue, since the original AWB expired. Also, being that the majority of the house is controlled by the Republicans, it's highly unlikely anything will pass through, assuming it doesn't die before making it to the committee.

Republicans still hold the majority in the house, and unless Obama does what Clinton did and pass an executive order, which would probably mean political suicide and Republican refusal to work on anything with Obama. It's not gonna pass. 2 weeks from now when the media stops giving a shit about these recent shootings and is back to talking about the Kardashins and what Lindsey Lohan is in jail for this week, we'll stop seeing politicians trying to pass another AWB.
