agree, it looks pretty nice with the sage kit

but that rail above the pistol grip is stupid, why would you need a rail above your pistol grip?

I can tolerate every single one of those abominations except for the ones that fuck with the STG 44.
FUUUUUCKKKK MAAAN!
Do the people who fuck with the STG 44 not realize they were made in a limited run by the Nazis? Well the Nazis aren't around anymore so no more new STG 44s except for shitty .22 rimfire clones.

It is probably a repo.
Anyway, what is wrong with this picture:

it's so god damn small
It is possible to make an Obrez out of nearly any rifle. The issue is that it's more acceptable to do it to a Mosin Nagant 91/30 than it is to a Karabiner 98 Kurz or a Swiss K31 pictured below.

It's only considered dumb mainly because it is essentially making a rifle into a pistol. The Russians were doing this to the standard MN 1891 during the Russian Revolution just because it was that much easier to conceal while firing a full sized round against the military. It's also good at setting clothes on fire since the barrel doesn't hold all the gunpowder like it normally would and some of it escapes before it burns.

Yeah I know what an obrez is.
why doesn't someone make a pistol an obrez?
like a 1911 obrez
why doesn't someone make a pistol an obrez?
like a 1911 obrez
Might as well just hold the bullet and hit the primer with a hammer at that point :v:
I think it's mainly because the mechanisms for many pistols involve the whole length of the slide, and would require making an entirely new one, or at least more in-depth modification than simply cutting down the barrel.

I bought my AK more than a week ago, yet I still haven't found a single fucking occasion to take it to the range. It's just sitting there in the safe, the both of us being sad at the lack of targets getting pierced by 7,62mm bullets.
Goddomot.

SPAS-12 for 6000AUD
http://www.usedguns.com.au/Product.aspx?p=2563
Man... I would buy that just to make people jealous.
6000Ad is a hell of an expensive way to kill yourself, by the looks of the picture that particular spas is still fitted with the old lever safety, which was faulty and could make the gun fire by itself if its cocked and even if the lever is set to safe. Franchi issued a recall a long time ago and now most of them have the safer button safety.

Personally I adore the Spas-12, and hope that someday I end up actually acquiring one, its a clunky thing with a hell of a lot of charm, and it looks ferocious.

I know that feeling too.
I bought a Saiga in 7.62mm since I could not find any Arsenals for sale at the time, and so when I finally got it to the range I found out that the spring in the trigger let go around the 25th shot and the trigger mechanism had a failure on me.
It wasn't until about four months later that I finally had the conversion kit finally in to fix the trigger and add the AK furni onto it. If it wasn't raining all day I would be out shooting it and the .22lr right now.

It's inside the lower part.

The price for them here is around 600-700 euros for an used one.
Right now there's one for 350 down south, but for that price it's probably held together with duct tape and bubblegum...
wouldn't it be cheaper for you since you're italian?

Recalled... from Australia? Soon as that thing leaves Australia you will never see it again.

They are cheaper, but 350 yuros is really too cheap. Smells really fishy.

I'm not getting this. It fires when the safety is off? Isn't that the point?
I'm not getting this. It fires when the safety is off? Isn't that the point?
When you flip the safety off it might just discharge on it's own without anyone touching the trigger.
Or if you flip it on it apparently too, very dangerous.

South of Italy... smells fishy.
I see what you did there.
a friend bought a mosin nagant a month ago, he got 880 rounds (or something) for his birthday. he hasn't shot it yet, waiting to join a gun club next month i think. hopefully i can go with him.

apparently the ammo came in cans which seems interesting

yeah soviet surplus all came in what we call spam cans. it does a really good job keeping the ammo shelf-stable, compared to nazi or japanese ammo which generally just doesn't work anymore

It's probably 880 since there are exactly 440 in one Spam can of Moist Nugget Food.
I enjoy the adrenaline rush I get from shooting my 91/30, it feels amazing to break solid concrete in half using irons at the range.
