Not really, you just move there and trade in your ID/Driver's license from Commiefornia at the DMV and they'll issue you an Oregon one.
I've done this in Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Just got back from the fun store... anything that wasn't a bolt action five round or less internal mag'd rifle was GONE. They had like five 1911s left (they usually carry a shitload), Glocks were just about gone, Sigs wiped out, ARs were completely gone, AKs completely gone, any form of semi auto shotgun was gone, 10/22s gone, M1As all gone, list goes on. While I was in there I overheard the staff talking about a guy that came in earlier and bought eight lowers.
I did, however, spy a lonely FNX-9 sitting on an otherwise empty shelf and decided to bring it home.

I also had a nice chat with a woman coming in to buy her husband a Glock 19 for Christmas. All of the staff were busy so I answered pretty much all of her questions about the gun and the processes involved in getting it, and then we ended up talking about random stuff while we both waited on our paperwork to go through.

Why did that guy have to shoot up that school. I had to wait just 2 more month, 2 more month until I could buy a gun. Now all the prices are jacked up and for all I know the guns are going to change.

We sold a metric fuckload of AR's today. It is just insane how fast these things are going out the door... I can't even finish one of my AR builds considering the prices of AR stuff right now :(
