Also damn... I wish PTR's were legal where I live and also cost that much cause I'd buy five, and sell two for 1k each...
3-5$, fixed :v:
They aren't the cheaply made ones either- I'm talking high quality 20 rounders.

I never get epic deals like this... damn man.
I worked an 85 hour week and it's been hellish with everything going on... My boss gave in and he's cutting me a major deal. Always wanted a .308, just gotta see if they are still there monday...
you cunt you'll be the first one here with a PTR :(
but thats pretty tight, shoot it with your dong
[QUOTE=download;38933602]I think he was from the US. But yea, I noticed it was a gun control group so I grew very suspicious of the data[/QUOTE]
The CFGC relies on lies, made-up statistics, and botched statistics to back up their arguments. Any time any of their representatives gets in a debate with a pro-gun person, they get their asses thoroughly handed to them.

good luck finding ammo for it right now.
So my dad was shopping for .223 ammo last week and a friend bought him a couple boxes of 5.56, my dad's been curious if there is any difference between them other then designation.
My friend told him the only difference is in ballistics due to differently shaped bullets, but he's not exactly the most trust worthy source :v:. I was wondering if you guys knew anything.

Don't trust me on this but 5.56 NATO has a higher chamber pressure than .223.

DAMMOT
Yeah seriously though, do NOT use 5.56 in a gun that clearly says .223 on it, shit CAN happen and it isn't pretty. If it says 5.56 you can shoot anything in it, its the same as not shooting .308 for a 7.62x51 NATO but you can do the other way around.
Okay thanks guys, I'll let him know.
You can usually run 5.56 in a .223, every gun ever made is rated for almost double chamber pressures. Just don't put it in a cheap gun and you'll be ok.
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
I wouldn't put it in a semi-auto though, the hotter loads will be hell on the gas system.

Well in a bolty it would probably be fine but I sure as hell wouldn't take that chance with ANY AR-15 that is marked in .223
Is there any indication that an AWB won't pass?
[QUOTE=credesniper;38935778]Is there any indication that an AWB won't pass?[/QUOTE]
We've gotta wait till January.
[QUOTE=credesniper;38935778]Is there any indication that an AWB won't pass?[/QUOTE]
NRA isn't screwing us this time and we've got a Republican majority. Chances of it passing are next to nothing.
went to my local pawn/gun shop to see if they had any ammo or guns left, and they didn't. But I did notice they had a shipment of old soviet assault shovels in, so I picked one up for 20$

yay
Not gun related but I just found out my grandpa has a sword he brought back from Japan in 1945. I'll try to get him to show me so I can get a picture

I've got 4,000 rounds. That isn't a concern to me right now. (I reload and .308 is my favorite round.) We've got metric shitloads of .308 at my LGS, but no one wants to buy it or the .308's we have (stuff is priced REALLY well too.)
We also got an RFB in for sale at 2,000$... If only, if only.

Speaking of this.
Anyone know a good folding shovel multi tool type thing?

Not much of a difference if you had an early one.

chinese-made WJQ-308 if you can find any for under $80 or so, otherwise just get a USGI entrenchment tool
Eh. Guess I'll just get the USGI.
All the WJQ-308's I'm finding are at least 60 dollars, plus 30 dollars shipping.
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
Actually, I'll just get that soviet shovel, they're like 20 dollars and seem to do the same thing, just not folded. I just need a tool for my car, guess with the money saved I could get a hatchet too.
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
Even Newegg sells them apparently.
[editline]22nd December 2012[/editline]
So. I found sheath and the shovel on amazon for about 28 bucks together, 5 dollar shipping on the shovel.
I'd say that's a bit better than a 90 dollar chinese foldable shovel.

Pictures if my nice new shiny Mosin sling mounts.

there are like 20 tools with the chinese one that depend on the folding part but I suppose you probably don't need a grappling hook
