Looks like we're getting ready for the ban by turning the thread into shovels and general tools discussion.
Looks like we're getting ready for the ban by turning the thread into shovels and general tools discussion.
obama can take away my assault guns, but he can't take away my assault shovels

Can't hotlink from funnyjunk, but from the title I imagine it to be this: (and it's nice to see one of my creatures gain this much popularity)
"made in china" isn't necessarily a bad quality
And it's also 5 times the price of great quality soviet assault shovel used in Afghanistan and against separatist. [editline]23rd December 2012[/editline] Just saying. 20 dollars, maybe 30 if you get the sheath with it, versus 60 dollars and 30 dollars shipping. [editline]23rd December 2012[/editline] Oh man. I love watching this video from time to time and seeing all the shit they say it can do. "You can make cave with glorious chinese shovel"
I'm going to go off the current discussion and see what people are willing to admit. We can all agree we were completely newbs to guns at some point in our lives. Name a goof up you made regarding a gun(s), or something you thought was right about guns, but was completely wrong. My first gun was a pump BB gun of course. You could load BBs into a compartment from the side, and chamber them by pulling back on the charging handle. This gun also shot .177 pellets. What I didn't know at the time was, you didn't dump the .177 pellets into the compartment like the BBs....lol
Working at a gun shop, I've learned a hell of a lot, including checking my facts after saying stupid things, and sometimes even before. I once told another employee that .45-70 was originally a handgun round and that they made revolvers in it back in the day. I then looked it up and realized I was retarded and horribly wrong.

I suppose it was inevitable that this was posted. :P
Guys, small problem, I spent my gun money on booze, what do?

Well yeah. It's good, but for a folding knife, you don't exactly have a lot of options for the 20 and under range. They're all extremely subpar.
all folding knives are subpar for heavy use
Yep. I'd just get a Ontario survival knife or a Kabar if I needed something for decent use. They seem to do the same job without being as overly huge as the Bowie is.

There are no Ontario knives in Ontario, or at least, not anywhere in Ontario I've been.

Not a bad knife, decent quality, better stuff out there for $20 though :v:. Still pretty decent regardless.
Since we're on the topic of EDC items it seems, I need a good flashlight that I can clip onto my pocket with my knife, that will light the fucking room up. LED preferably, as I'm a big fan of LED flashlights. In other news, I just bought my first, and not last, year of membership to the NRA.
In other news, I just bought my first, and not last, year of membership to the NRA.
waste of money
I got a 3 year membership for like $35 that expires this month after 4 years. I don't think I'll renew, but I might send a donation to NRA/ILA. The ILA branch spends their money on lobbying. The NRA itself spends it's money on advertising.
Buds gunshop is auctioning off some baby killers, and Bushmaster AR's are going for over 2 grand this is just silly.
I was thinking about selling my AK to fund a car, and a few mags to fund a 1911...but it seems AK stuff isn't climbing the way AR stuff is. Will have to wait for the bill to hit Congress to cash out, I think.
I've been thinking about taking my WASR10 up to a local pawn shop to see what they'd give me for it.
I've been thinking about taking my WASR10 up to a local pawn shop to see what they'd give me for it.
If they figure their prices the same way the one near me does, they go with half of the current selling rate on Gunbroker. So $400-500 right now Which is less than you probably bought it for.
Thats about what I paid for it, but I bet I could throw it up on armslist for 700-100$ and watch it'd probably go quick.
I guess it's safe to say that Obama is, ironically, the best gun salesman ever? :v:
Thats about what I paid for it, but I bet I could throw it up on armslist for 700-100$ and watch it'd probably go quick.
I agree it would go quick for 100 bucks... Hell I'd buy it right now for that. In all seriousness I'm thinking of a Tanker M1 Garand... I saw one at a gun store recently and I can't get it out of my mind.
waste of money
How so?

I'm going to sell mine holy shit
In related news, no chance of me being allowed to keep a gun at my parents house. It's illegal to keep guns on campus at college right?
Most places I think you can give them to the police to hold on to Also all these green text stories without the green. How about you idiots go to 4chan or post stories like a regular person
