If we look at just those pictures alone, there's probably over $20,000 of guns on those tables [editline]28th December 2012[/editline] Oh and many historical pieces that belong in museums (Indiana jones reference) or a owner who will truly appreciate it fuck california
At the very least they should be demilled.......I mean come on, if they sell those back or even just demill them for parts, California could cut off a sizable chunk of it's debt.
Hmm, I have a rifle that costs over $1000 dollars, what do we do? sell it for $200 of course! Also if you didn't notice, there's a Garand and an MP-40 there.
Or, for a better thing, just cut itself from existance. Want to fix the debt crisis? Sell California back to the Mexicans, we never really needed it anyways.
I swear people in that thread are dumb, drunk, or high.
It should be a crime to let an MP40 be destroyed... or an M1 for that matter! I mean Christ the CMP, A FUCKING GOV'T FUNDED GROUP, SELLS THEM!!!!
Look how proud they are, removing 2000 guns from America, only 300,000,000 to go!

Hey, guys. I'm back. :v:
Hey, guys. I'm back. :v:
Who the fuck are you?
Who the fuck are you?
Camwi_003 would be my guess.
I went to all of our surrounding sporting good stores for my BX-25 search, and all of them are sold out. I asked my local gun store and he said on the day of the shooting someone walked in and bought all of the BX-25s and Pmags.
Just for shits and giggles, I checked out the gun section of my local Wal-mart. The only guns left where bolt action rifles and shotguns. Not a single magazine fed, semi-auto. Not even a Ruger 10/22. Then I take a look at the ammo. There were still a few stacks of ammo, but you could clearly tell the shelves were more sparse then usual.
Does anyone know if all full sized Glock frames are the same, regardless of calibre?
They aren't.
They aren't.
Any clue which ones are the same and how you can tell the difference?
Does anyone know if all full sized Glock frames are the same, regardless of calibre?
sometimes. Glock 20 and 21 are the same, glock 17, 22, and 31 are the same (though I'd start with the stronger 22 frame if I were converting backwards). I believe 18 and 36 are the only ones that aren't interchangeable with anything at all
So I take it the magazines exterior dimensions are also different?
So I take it the magazines exterior dimensions are also different?
only between certain models
Does anyone know if all full sized Glock frames are the same, regardless of calibre?
They really aren't. You can usually just eyeball them and see the difference. A Glock 21 (.45acp) is going to be quite a good deal larger and fatter than a Glock 17.

Every place around here is pretty much dry on guns and ammo. The only things left at the local Walmarts are a couple of boxes of hunting rounds. Pretty much every place is dried up. On that subject, I was at the local Bass Pro picking up a box of 270WSM. There was a young girl that worked there on the ammunition aisle. She was on the phone with a customer, whom I assume was asking what ammo they had in stock. I here her say, "Yes, we do have some .223 left." They hadn't had .223 for over a week, so I was a little perplexed. She was looking at a couple of boxes of .223WSSM. I then here her say, "We have five boxes, would you like me to hold them for you?", followed by, "Yes sir, they will be waiting for you at the gun counter." At this point she hung the phone up. I couldn't help but go up and tell her that whomever was on the phone was likely not looking for .223WSSM. I then had to explain the difference to her. ^This is one of the biggest things I hate about retail stores. If someone doesn't know what they are selling, they shouldn't be selling it.
I wouldn't be buying ammo at baspro anyways, they're typically insanely overpriced on everything they sale.
Man, at family house in England during the holidays, loads of people knew I stayed in the US for quite a few years and naturally saw a chance to take a stab at that in the wake of this whole Connecticut incident. Kept having to deflate/counter rhetoric fueled arguments for most of the day. Some of the things they said...BLIMEY. At my store we don't even stock 223WSSM, didn't even know it existed until 1 guy asked about it.
At my store we don't even stock 223WSSM, didn't even know it existed until 1 guy asked about it.
We sell almost everything in the store on the last day of the year during our annual massive sale. I put out 150 boxes of it last night :v: Shooting my PTR91 for the first time in a bit
What'd they say?
'They all just need to go.' 'This whole 2nd Amendement stuff is complete bollocks, why don't they just repeal the damned thing already?' 'The closest I've ever been to a handgun, I don't know why, I felt terrified, just, what if it had bullets in it and the guy went crazy?!' 'They don't NEED all those fully-automatic-submachine guns. That's just utterly absurd.' 'They don't need that for hunting. What on earth do they need it for?!' I responded as rationally and politely as possible(imagine the polar opposite attitude of how I respond to faze's comments), why the 2nd Amendment was written the way it was, why it can't be and should not be repealed, CCW got brought up a few times. Finding the words to describe and elaborate these things to these mindsets that look down on such ideas condescendingly is emotionally tiring and I'm now exhausted and whats disheartening to me is I don't think I even got through to them. I just don't like it when something which I have been around, grew to like and understand lovingly so ignorantly mocked by a bunch of nanny-staters. And this is coming from a dude who was pretty much raised in the UK.
