I really don't care, it would just be hilarious at the range to say "Yeah, it's a .22." "THAT'S a .22?" "Yeah, .22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer" "Dafuq?"
Shiiieeetttt My Hardballer isn't actually a Hardballer but a AMT Combat Government, that was made for the police and has fixed sights and a reinforced hammer or something. Only a 1000 ever made in the early 80s and judging from other guys posted serial numbers, I might have the 24th one made
So your stainless steel pistol is worth more than what you got for it?
So your stainless steel pistol is worth more than what you got for it?
it's still only worth about $450-500. I think combat governments are worth a little less than standard hardballers. anything that isn't a longslide really isn't worth that much
Well, eh. Still a really awesome pistol. Although Hitman Absolution deceived me about the value of it. Having to do a competition shoot for it, when 47 fucking walks in with an Automag. He could have traded for it!

I went snow shooting at my uncles place to sight in my 10/22 and try out my 870 barrel, and I forgot to close my box of Winchester 333 and a bunch of snow got in it, so they are all wet. I'm thinking about just throwing the box away since 333 is shit anyway.
Just got some Reloader 7, a ton of 220 grain 30 cal Hornady bullets, and some 300 blk brass. Tomorrow is going to be a great Sunday
They had a message on their facebook page telling everyone that if you see an offensive advert bearing their logo, then it's a fake
How can people tell? And what if I find their existence offensive, does that make them fake too?

I'm sure the same thing would happen up here, if the antis didn't run away screaming if they were presented with a gun to do this with.
If Feinsteins shit passes I'm sincerely sorry for you American FP'rs. If you haven't already heard the news, http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1237627
Is it legal for me, a Georgia Resident, to sell privately a long rifle in Florida? EDIT: I've been reading that I'll have to take it to a Florida FFL and have it transferred, seems like it would be a pain in the ass. Can anyone confirm for me?
Go to a gun show, you walk up to the guy, he hands you cash, you hand him the gun. Also the show I was at on saturday was worse than the lines for people on black friday. An hour into the show there were 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait times to even get in the buildings, some of the dealers were so understaffed that they had to stop transactions for 30 mins to even catch up. On top of this they had to start ordering people out of the buildings because it was so heavily overcrowded. Also people were buying up tons and tons of AR15s, 5.56/223 is so scarce to find here right now.
On Dec. 17th, Feinstein said, "I have been working with my staff for over a year on this legislation" and "It will be carefully focused." Indicating the depth of her research on the issue, she said on Dec. 21st that she had personally looked at pictures of guns in 1993, and again in 2012.
what the fuck
Contains a larger piece of window dressing than the 1994 ban. Whereas the 1994 ban included a list of approximately 600 rifles and shotguns exempted from the ban by name, the new bill's list is increased to nearly 1,000 rifles and shotguns. But most of the guns on the list either wouldn’t be banned in the first place, or would already be exempted by other provisions. On the other hand, the list inevitably misses every model of rifle and shotgun that wasn’t being manufactured or imported in the years covered by the reference books Sen. Feinstein’s staff consulted. That means an unknown number of absolutely conventional semi-auto rifles and shotguns, many of them out of production for decades, would be banned under the draft bill.
fuck
"Assault weapon" numbers and murder trends: From the imposition of Feinstein's "assault weapon" ban (Sept. 13, 1994) through the present, the number of "assault weapons" has risen dramatically. For example, the most common firearm that Feinstein considers an "assault weapon" is the AR-15 rifle, the manufacturing numbers of which can be gleaned from the BATFE's firearm manufacturer reports, available here. From 1995 through 2011, the number of AR-15s--all models of which Feinstein's new bill defines as "assault weapons"--rose by over 2.5 million. During the same period, the nation's murder rate fell 48 percent, to a 48-year low. According to the FBI, 8.5 times as many people are murdered with knives, blunt objects and bare hands, as with rifles of any type.
well [editline]6th January 2013[/editline]
Traces: Feinstein makes several claims premised on firearm traces, hoping to convince people that her 1994 ban reduced the (already infrequent) use of "assault weapons" in crime. However, traces do not indicate how often any type of gun is used in crime. As the Congressional Research Service and the BATFE have explained, not all firearms that are traced have been used in crime, and not all firearms used in crime are traced. Whether a trace occurs depends on whether a law enforcement agency requests that a trace be conducted. Given that existing "assault weapons" were exempted from the 1994 ban and new "assault weapons" continued to be made while the ban was in effect, any reduction in the percentage of traces accounted for by "assault weapons" during the ban, would be attributable to law enforcement agencies losing interest in tracing the firearms, or law enforcement agencies increasing their requests for traces on other types of firearms, as urged by the BATFE for more than a decade
she really is a whore

I almost have enough money for a decent rifle or shotgun. Not sure what to get though. I was thinking maybe a Remington 807EX, just for starters. The only other gun I own is a Mosin, and my dad sold everything else that we had aside from a 10/22. What are your guys' thoughts on .22-250? We have coyotes around here, and the ammo is way easier to find currently than .223.
Are Mosins bad coyote guns or something?
Well, if you like having some animal left, then yes.
Sure .22-250 is easier to find now, but .223 is going to come back to stores in a while. Personally, I'd wait this out if I were an american. If I were to get anything in .22-250, I'd also get some reloading dies.

If the Apocalypse actually came, I would be the first to bolt metal pans to a leather vest and form a post-apocalyptic scooter gang.
