And generally, the actions on a lot of self loading guns are pretty damn loud, my M1 Carbine will just about leave a ringing in your ears if you rack that thing fast enough and the 'SLAM' noise of the bolt on my SR-556 has made people jump a couple times.
The M1 Carbine is honestly one of my favorite sounding guns though, such a unique little "pop/clank" sound

Shot one for the first time last weekend. I didn't want one beforehand, now I definitely want one with a Gunshow coming up this weekend.
What's the point of banning a firearm that utilizes caseless ammunition?
Because during a crime their would be no cases on the ground to identify the shooter. Should ban revolvers too!
Oh God.
The guy in SWAT just called his Glock magazine a clip.

Seriously though, that seems a silly mistake for a show that's primarily focused on guns and their use.

BAN PICKING UP CASINGS

They're awesome little guns. Definitely in my top 3.
I'd definitely recommend you do a little research before you jump in and buy one though; they're one of those guns that are highly collectable, and therefore alot of fake parts and bubba jobs are out there and it's fairly easy to get screwed if you don't know what to look for.
Take a gander through this site and you should be fairly well prepared for your upcoming gunshow

This.
I've had experiences involving shooting alongside police and ex-military at the ranges, and I've had a few times where a cop offered to let me shoot a mag through their service pistol.
Meanwhile idiots like the one I saw last night had no safety discipline like TD, constantly muzzlesweeping and etc with an illegal pistol he has no firearms experience with or prior.
Muzzlesweeping?
Muzzlesweeping?
Where the barrel of the gun gets pointed at someone else on the firing line.
Muzzlesweeping?
Pointing the shooty at you.
Any tips as to how I can "tune up" a nugget and make it accurate? I'm planning on making my mosin my field gun (without absolutely bubbaing it).

why wouldn't it be accurate?

Oh, right.
See, that's why I love my range so much.
If you muzzlesweep at all, the range-master comes over and literally screams your face off your head! :v:
... he scares the shit outta me.

Awesome. Sometimes people just need a good yellin'. :v:

Quality of Mosins vary, I found my nugget is accurate but the sights are canted.
The only way I can name how to make a gun more accurate without bubbaing it is by floating the barrel.
Read about it and other ways to improve your nugget here.
glass bedding the receiver tang also will help your accuracy.

Remove the s from the https:// and you're good to go.
Took my field test for hunters safety today with my sister, I passed with flying colors.
After that they had a range set up so we could shoot trap/22lr. First time shooting trap so I only barely hit like 2/4 pigeons (not used to not thinking and pulling the trigger), but my sister actually outshot me and broke some clays.
How I managed to take this picture with my shitty camera phone I still don't know.

trap shooting is fun as hell
Also... Convinced my dad to help me refurbish the Gewehr 98!
Does anyone have a guide on how to remove rust[not pitting] from metal?
