(British Mark 3) Standard steel helmet I scrounged from my home barracks castlebar before it's closure, ancient thing, stopped being in use around 1984. (Israeli Orlite helmet) My first helmet of 5 years, I slept in it, drank out of it, and fell in it a lot. (RBH 303IE combat helmet) Then the newest model, comfortable and has ear guards.

[IMG_thumb]http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh55/111CC111/IMG_20121006_215231.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Random assortment of patches, Austria, France, Ukraine's Titan unit, Serb Volunteer Guard, Kosovo Mines Information Cell, and Resident Evil for some reason.

[IMG_thumb]http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh55/111CC111/IMG_20121006_215726.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Baikal Mp-133 with a belt of 00 Buck, never leave home without it.

[IMG_thumb]http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh55/111CC111/IMG_20121006_215057.jpg[/IMG_thumb] My first gun, and a relic of the old days, I always kept the vest with it and pray that I never have to wear it again.
So what stuff do you guys have hidden away?

At least you guys had the chance to shoot! I haven't shot in a couple months because of all this school shit and junk. Nobody told me Architecture would be so demanding. Well they did... but seriously...

Went to a range today. Apparently its apart of a national park or something in the blue ridge mountains, range fee was 2$ for an outdoor range, no one was there so we got to shoot for free. Fired 200 rounds out of my mosin and boiled the rest of the cosmoline out, my buddy shot his .22 for about the same a mount of rounds. Was fun, going back tomorrow to do the same.
Is that a light sabre mounted onto the top of that gun?
Old school laser. The company that made the laser on the Longslide went on to become Surefire.
In 1984, laser sights were rare, and required a high level of power. This helium neon laser needed 10,000 volts to turn on, and a further 1,000 volts to maintain its brightness. The cables were run up Arnold's arm to a battery that was in his M65 field jacket. The laser was activated by his other hand.
Holy shit, look at the size of that thing! By the way, to the Engineers complaining earlier, I transferred out of the Aerospace Engineering major and my brother is currently a Mechie. He feels your pain D:
-snip- I'm late
I've been thinking. We need to cull pigeons and seagulls. They're literally in plague proportions every where in South Australia. Won't be able to do that though because a bunch of animal lovers will get their nickers in a knot

[pigeon is far better though] In speaking of eating/killing seagulls.... Medal of Honor Recipient, Eddie Rickenbacker
For 24 days, Rickenbacker, Army captain Hans C. Adamson, his friend and business partner, and the rest of the crewmen drifted in life rafts at sea. Rickenbacker was still suffering somewhat from his earlier airplane crash, and Capt. Adamson sustained serious injuries during the ditching. The other crewmen in the B-17 were hurt to varying degrees. The crewmen's food supply ran out after three days. Then, on the eighth day, a seagull landed on Rickenbacker's head. He warily and cautiously captured it, and then the survivors meticulously divided it into equal parts and used part of it for fishing bait.[25] They lived on sporadic rain water that fell and similar food "miracles". Rickenbacker assumed leadership, encouraging and browbeating the others to keep their spirits up. One crewman, Alexander Kaczmarczyk of the USAAF, died and was buried at sea. The U.S. Army Air Forces and the U.S. Navy's patrol planes planned to abandon the search for the lost B-17 crewmen after just over two weeks, but Rickenbacker's wife persuaded them to extend it another week. The services agreed to do so. Once again, the newspapers and radio broadcasts reported that Rickenbacker was dead.
What would you guys say about getting this furniture on the AR I'm building: http://www.milsurpstuff.com/proddetail.asp?prod=STK09301D http://www.milsurpstuff.com/proddetail.asp?prod=MAG416FDE And a Magpul MOE in the same color for the stock. Thoughts?
Guys I just looked at a Merkel Drillings gun online... Help I can feel my wallet crying already. Beautiful fucking work of art, anyone who would want this gun destroyed should be considered a criminal.
ridge offered to go to the range with me sometime i am telling you this because I am afraid range is a euphemism and he's currently watching a movie what do I do
Go to the "range" with him then.

Oh looky. I found another 'how do i build it' guide
Look at this thing: http://www.wolverinesupplies.com/details/6104/Chiappa-1887-T-Series-12-Gauge.aspx The Cawadoody special, the "tactical" 1887. It's actually so hilarious that I want it.
1887s are quite popular in Australia because it's the closest thing we can have to a pumpaction shotgun. Shame they're not very reliable though
ridge offered to go to the range with me sometime i am telling you this because I am afraid range is a euphemism and he's currently watching a movie what do I do
Oh yes....let us have some "range" time...
1887s are quite popular in Australia because it's the closest thing we can have to a pumpaction shotgun. They're not very good. I've been thinking that if I could design a reliable lever action shotgun I could make a fortune here in Australia...

Surely that'd be easier to do and more reliable than a lever-action.

Going out to test it for the first time tomorrow.
