Dear lord, I honestly feel bad for any gun owner in New York:
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2013/01/15/bill-called-toughest-gun-control-package-in-nation-passed-by-new-york-state/
On the topic of AWB in general, people just don't realize what truly is happening. Banning certain guns DEFINITELY infringes on the 2nd Amendment, and the Constitution as a whole. It is no different than telling people...
"Yes, you have freedom of speech, but you can not express your opinion about the government."
or...
"Yes, you are free to practice religion, but you can not practice Catholicism because it's scary." (No ill feelings towards Catholicism, I am Catholic myself, I was just using it as an example.)
That's why when their house of cards comes falling down after this legislation fails, there needs to be a coordinated effort across the nation to see to it that the NFA and GCA get demolished as well.
Oh buttfuckingly perfect, Illinois is going to pass some new retarded gun-control laws, that will require registration of guns and maybe magazines too.
We should sell Illinois back to the Native Americans, they'd run it way better than whatever shitfuck gets elected.
Illinois is a hellhole of crime and stupidity. Money goes nowhere but straight to the fed. Fuck Springfield, Fuck Quinn, Fuck Chicago, Fuck the Dems, FUCK THIS STATE.
So I found a Mauser Preduzece 44 with all matching parts, and some people here seem to know a lot more about K98s than I do. Am I right to think 450 dollars for something like this:http://www.gunsinternational.com/Mauser-98.cfm?gun_id=100277488 is a bit too nice? Hopefully I'm just being way too skeptical.

I can't imagine who would think registering magazines would do anything. Or how exactly they plan to enforce such a thing.
Connecticut has a bill in the state legislature that, if passed, would ban ownership/transportation/selling of any gun other than a single shot... so, don't think CT don't know how to fuck, cause Glorious Governor Dannel Malloy and the Dems in the State Leg. know how to fuck.

ahahaha holy shit get a load of this guy
I'm sorry I'm late on my question, but wouldn't number six, technically, be unconstitutional? That's basically saying if some jackass steals my .22 and poaches on private land nearby, I could be charged with the crime; even though he committed two? Further more, I'd be criminally charged for a crime I did not commit, and would be presumed guilty unless proven innocent, which would violate the fifth amendment?
(Yes, I know banning ARs many would feel to be a violation of the second, but technically there is a small loop-hole there with the wording, so ignore that small caveat for the time being in my question, please.)

He's certainly got Balls
heh
Hey guys I read today's newspaper and have somethings I want to share.
11 states are weighing tougher gun control legislation. Most of them on the Pacific or Northeast coast. All are blue states which tend to vote Democrat. The states are Oregon, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, and Rhode Island.
If you live in New York you're fucking fucked. They plan to enact the "country's toughest gun control laws" according to the governor, and the majority of representatives support the plan.
Goddamn I love Texas.
It won't. California's shit laws never got overturned, neither did Massachusetts, or DC, or Illinois, etc etc etc
There have been things in the past in California that the courts have completely shutdown. The banning of handguns in San Francisco was a big one.
Great, I guess i have a year to sell my 9mm 10 round mags and .22 10 round mags and buy non existent 7 round ones.
Guess I have to register my mosin too.

Better yet, get the fuck out of new york.

It's good to see Washington State is still super left wing/democratic without being dumb about easy to understand issues like gun laws. I love my state <3
I want that damned price-tag back!
Assuming the add was around the late 50's, 190$ is about ~1500$ in todays money, so not much has changed.
Yeah I was about to say money does not have the same value anymore.

The days where people didn't have EOTechs and carrying handles still exited.

Oh, no, I know. I just wish buying something for $100 was still possible in the gun world, is all I'm saying. Hell, my small 5.11 backpack costed nearly $200 when I got it new, for crying out loud!
I can get an old used Cooey rifle/shotgun up here for $100 or less.
I can get a single shot, bolt action, 16 gauge shotgun at my local gun shop for $50 bucks...

Oh and if you guys have the time, http://www.ruger.com/micros/advocacy/takeAction.html lets let all the officials we elected hear our voices, takes like thirty seconds.
So I've been meaning to start a YouTube series of some kind for years now, and most recently I've been debating making a pro-gun series geared towards challenging Canada's gun laws, in a similar style to AmidstTheNoise. You've all probably seen me debate in SH/MD, what do you think? Think I've got a shot? Think it would help? Think I could be concise, logical, and factual enough?

-make sure you have a good quality mic
-if you look like a teenager or sound autistic it's probably a bad idea
-try to be concise without lots of dry info and maybe sprinkle in a bit of humor

You really know your shit when it comes to Canadas gun laws, and you seem to know more about US gun laws than a lot of US posters on FP (not saying a lot but still). If you put your actual face in the video, just make yourself look average and relateable I guess, don't do a video in camo with a full tactical gear setup or anything like that. I say go for it.
