Sorry, but they actually don't. It is against Ebay's terms of use to sell any magazine with a capacity of 11 rounds or more. Unless he bought a 10 round magazine (which is impossible, since p-mags are only 20 and 30 to my knowledge) then he is SOL.
Oh, well, they should at least leave negative feedback so hopefully nobody else falls for it [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] Also screw your combo posts I do what I want
PEOPLE. What search terms would I use when searching for an untouched A1 lower receiver? I keep getting weird results. This is on Gunbroker, btw
PEOPLE. What search terms would I use when searching for an untouched A1 lower receiver? I keep getting weird results. This is on Gunbroker, btw
A1 lower?
Tried it. I'm starting to think that there aren't any A1 Lowers on Gunbroker :v:
So the inevitable question, are there any nodak spud receivers left?
Nope, just join me in the wait my friend.. Also my prediction is that after this gun panic burns out, Companies would have pumped out so much product and so many guns have fluctuated throughout the market that prices might actually be lower than before the scare after it blows off.
I wouldn't be surprised, A1 lowers aren't common, and when they do pop up they're gone quick. if you're willing to shell out some serious cash you could always look for a registered auto lower
lol no, I can't afford anything automatic.
If you don't want to dish out a lot of cash then you're probably better off just building a modern AR first.
but they are designated for 5.56x45 which makes them illegal in CA in NY, automatically violating ebay's ToS. it is still a 30 round magazine, regardless of whether you put .458 socom in it or not. It is built and produced to fit 5.56, which makes it illegal in NY and CA. What is so funny about that?
I've been an avid eBayer for over seven years. I can honestly tell you, eBay's protection is HEAVILY favored for the buyer. If he was led to believe he was buying a .458 mag, which only holds ten rounds, then he has full right to dispute it and get his money back. eBay would definitely punish the seller in this case. kman, give me the link to the auction and I will tell you what you need to do. I'd stake anything that I can help your dad get his money back.
lol no, I can't afford anything automatic.
Look around the subguns.com classifieds. You might be surprised. They're expensive but just as any other market, sometimes a great deal comes by. I could've had a registered MAC 10 in .45 for around $2,700 if I weren't just a poor little white boy.
And then you bank account would commit suicide thinking about how much money you'd be spending on ammo
Worth it. Doesn't look like M-10s and M-11's have gone up that much because of all the bullshit going on. There's a really nice M-11 in .380 for $3,200, which was a good price before any threat of stricter gun laws. Maybe I'll open another saving's account.
There are FA Thompsons up for sale in Canada for $4000, the only problem is I am not and likely will never be legally able to buy it.
Speaking of M11's, got offered one as trade for my AK along with a suppressor :v:. sadly I can't own a suppressor.
I'd imagine after this gun panic stuff cools off there will be a glut of used and new lowers, driving the prices down.
I think it'll start in 2-6 weeks, when credit card statements start coming in and people's spouses get pissed about it. [editline]16th January 2013[/editline]
Lol, there are all these M1 Carbine, 15 round magazines listed as 10 rounders
http://www.ebay.com/itm/M1-Carbine-30-Cal-5-Round-Magazine-Mag-Clip-/140906337461 ಠ_ಠ
Speaking of M11's, got offered one as trade for my AK along with a suppressor :v:. sadly I can't own a suppressor.
Why, Isn't it just a 200 $ tax stamp... where joo live?
Speaking of M11's, got offered one as trade for my AK along with a suppressor :v:. sadly I can't own a suppressor.
I would do that in a fucking heartbeat. As long as it's a transferable M11. They can keep the suppressor because I can only own the gun here.
I would do that in a fucking heartbeat. As long as it's a transferable M11. They can keep the suppressor because I can only own the gun here.
I'd rather have the AK :I
MAC's will always have a place in my heart. The M11 and M10 (and the M11/9 to a much lesser extent) were highly underrated firearms. I love my Hakim and all but I wish I hadn't traded in my Masterpiece Arms M11/9 pistol for it. That thing was so fun to bumpfire.
I would do that in a fucking heartbeat. As long as it's a transferable M11. They can keep the suppressor because I can only own the gun here.
It was over armslist, so I got the suspicion that it probably wasn't transferable, and I didn't feel like getting the tax stamp stuff to get the suppressor. [editline]17th January 2013[/editline]
Why, Isn't it just a 200 $ tax stamp... where joo live?
Not 21, so I don't think I can own or buy one, or is private sales exempt?
Firearm VIII - Killing babies since WWI
My dad really wants an AR15. I just want a Mosin. Or another sexy wooden gun. Not that AR's are ugly, but I prefer some wooden guns to an AR15.
Boomstick VIII - European children pls go
Not 21, so I don't think I can own or buy one, or is private sales exempt?
If you aren't 21 then you can't have NFA items period. You'd have to transfer it to a guardian, who would then transfer it to you once you turn 21. Also, there's a good chance it's transferrable. There are no post-sample or pre-sample MAC's, they were all registered the moment the receiver flat left the cutting die. Plus illegally converted ones are extremely rare these days, given the rarity of the open bolt MAC's.
Especially because I'm not going out of my way to shoot my 30-6 Model 700 because dat recoil
