Judgment Day really is at hand! Taurus might buy Freedom Group (which in case you don't know owns Remington, Marlin, and the lot). http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/2013-01-17/gun-ban-no-obstacle-to-taurus-bid-for-freedom-corporate-brazil.html

I'm getting $100 to goto the Gunshow with.
Challenge Accepted. Time to find the cheapest 22LR or .410 possible[or find Gewehr parts...Whatever comes first]

I watched about 20 minutes worth of bits of that footage and it made me physically ill. Not because of the language or the people, but because of the random violence. This is exactly what the european kiddoes on SH don't understand and probably never will. Some areas of the United States just have so much more violent crime than many parts of central Europe. If I lived in even a slightly unsafe neighborhood in USA (as an American citizen) I would own at least a handgun and a shotgun for home defense.

Oh god my sides.
Anyone care to break down this NY new law bullshit for me? I'm hearing about registration and don't know what the fuck is going on.

I've not heard about that, but given VA precedent, I can only imagine he not only got defeated, but was booed off the stage. Man, I love being a Virginian, some days!

Last I knew, they were still caught up in the whole "You may not load more than seven rounds per-mag; but you may still legally own 10 and 15 round magazines." As well as not having a loop-hole for the cops; but that was several days ago I heard those rumours. I've not read anything related to the bill directly.
I got a 50 dollar amazon gift card from a friend. Decided to get this and I only had to pay about 5 bucks for the co2 and shipping. Already have the ammo.

Airguns, while not as loud and don't have that much recoil. Are still kinda fun and cheap to shoot with. I could shoot 1000 rounds for about ten bucks.
So, I was able to get my FSB off, and install my PRI block without issue. I also removed on of the apertures on my rear iron sight. Then I had a small fiasco...
Was putting the roll pin back into the adjustment knob of my AR's rear iron sight. Didn't realise my thumb was on the other side of the opening. When I used the roll punch to pop it back in, pin went straight through and straight into my thumb. The end of the roll punch was stuck in a little bit too, and when I pulled it out, blood shot everywhere. I'm currently at the ER...

Shit man, that's fucked up.
Someone was selling a 91/30 for $275.
I don't fucking even.
Other then that, I spotted some M1 Garands running for $700 and AR15s were running the usual $700 - $1200. One thing that was non-existent though was ammo.

That has been the going rate for Nagants at my local shop since I started visiting it. I'm not even surprised anymore...

Damn Foster, hope you get to feeling better...
I need to goto a gun show

Thanks man. I'm feeling fine, does hurt though. I have to go see a surgeon monday. They can't get it out here, they are going to have to cut deep to get it out.
I am raising a stink about it. I'm insistant on grtting the pin back when they get it out, so I can reuse it. Lol

Fuck that pin.
I'm surfing /k/ when suddenly...

Joe why did you have to go and post the GAD thread in SH, now we have another debate on our hands.
Well I'm seeing more support than anything, I'm VERY surprised facepunch is more pro-gun than anything.
So that white object in your thumb is a pin embedded in your skin? ow ow ow ow ow
Yup, a roll pin.

Surprisingly enough, so are actually willing to listen to reason and logic.

Oh man I hate those things, that thing was a bitch to get out of my old M1A when I was taking out the stripper clip guide.
Hey, I'm a white man from England and have posted in this thread a few times about the "firearms" that I have got which is 0.
In the newspaper a few weeks back there was an article about that teenager that shot up the little kids school and then it ridiculed this website (http://www.deactivated-guns.co.uk/) for selling real guns both activated and deactivated in the UK. I thought the law was clear that it was shotguns and hunting rifles only. Yet this website sells copies of popular guns really cheap (http://www.deactivated-guns.co.uk/live-firearms-and-shotguns/brand-new-gsg5-mp5-anniversary-edition-mega-deal/prod_2244.html).
The newspaper wanted it shut down so it has to be a genuine website, you need a firearm certificate to own it and I contacted the website about it and they told me you have to have two people vouch for you (doctor, close friend) and talk to a police officer about it and show them where you would store it etc.
Does any one from the UK or anywhere else for that matter have any thoughts on this? I am really interested in buying a gun from the website but being a copy is that a bad idea? Will the police really let me have a MP5 and also what will my mom say?
-Edit-
Here's the desciprtion from another gun
"this is a live firearm and requires an FAC with the correct variation to purchase. Not to be missed. Available with scope. Not included in the price. £999 Price deactivated with extras pictured."
So they are real guns (http://www.deactivated-guns.co.uk/live-firearms-and-shotguns/fully-kitted-ruger-sr-15-ar15-clone-/prod_1505.html)

Its not going to explode, if anything the entire arguement has been about the use of the pink swastika.

The SR-22 is a pretty damn good .22 from what I've heard, and I know some people in this thread have had the GSG-5 before as well, no issue with it being a clone.
As for British gun laws, none of us are British (Except Gubbinz, but he lives in the States IIRC). Your best bet would be to try and find your nearest gun club/gun shop and ask them about the laws.

I'll save you a lot of heartache and just point out that the mass media here in the US is full of idiots that never have any idea of what they are talking about, and are only trying to be as controversial as possible so more people watch and they get more money from their advertisers.

That's not an MP5. It's a .22lr dressed up to look like one.
So apparently Walther is releasing a gun that isn't a grand, they're calling it the PPX and it's going to be about $600. I think it looks ugly as shit, personally, and way too boxy. It reminds me too much of a Glock.

Looks like an XDm mixed with a Hi-Point.
I was thinking about picking up a Bulgarian AK-47 for around $750. Does anyone have any idea about the quality of these things? I don't want it blowing up in my hand. :v:
