By any chance have any of you owned a Mossberg 46? I'm looking for the manual for it, and am having no luck. Also how extensive should my first cleaning be? There's no rust in the barrel, and so far that's one of the three components I think I need to clean (the other being the bolt and the area where it sits).

Thanks, but you've run into the problem I have. The other models (in those pictures the 46m) are much more common. I just have a plain old 46, and google treats that as an open term.

At doc right now. I'm getting it taken out in two and a half hours. They are gonna have to sedate me rather than numb it because of the depth, proximity to the bone, and the need to clean it out.

So I just spent all day shadowing hired help for our store's inventory, and I spent almost all day inventorying our shotshells on display. So. Much. Buckshot. And. Slugs. But that's not the worst of it, we found ~500 loose CO2 canisters in a drawer, and I had to count them. 493 is the number I got.
I want a pistol grip stock for a 10/22 before Obongo bans them anyone have any preferences or suggestions?

So, on facebook earlier tonight, I noticed Magpul announced their new Carbine-style fixed-stock, to which a lot of members criticized about them developing for an AWB (amongst other things). I personally liked the look of the stock, even though for me a carbine is just rather unrealistic and not useful. What do you guys think?

It looks like a fixed stock? What is the point of having a fixed stock on a collapsible tube?

Virginia's got shot down. Vermont has withdrawn theirs. A federal level ban would never make it through Congress.
State level, perhaps. New York's is being challenged in the courts right now. But not going to be anything nationwide.

Even in one of the reddest states on gun rights; I'm sorta pumped for a new Magpul stock because I don't like collapsible stocks. (Granted I don't own one, but of the three or four different ones I have shot, they all feel shaky to me.)

Magpul CTR has a friction lock that locks it up solid on a buffer tube.
