If you have a Concealed Carry license then that sign means nothing. There is no law against having a firearm in a public restaurant, even if the restaurant doesn't consent. I would CC in there anyway if I had a license, it's concealed for a reason, not like they're going to see it. Also what, do they expect police officers to leave their pistols in the car?
As I understand it too, some states do not honor those signs too. If you're asked to leave you still have to do so but you won't be charged with having a gun there unless the state actually has a law that honors those signs. Pretty sure that's the case here in Idaho, I grazed over the reading material for it this morning, gonna be getting my CCW in March so I can wear a coat over my carry gun. :v:
I thought he meant the M2 Carbine, not the M2HB. There's a few guns with the "M2" and even the M1 designation that it gets kind of confusing.
Didn't he post a picture of a M2 machine gun?
Signs like that are not legally enforceable if I'm correct. They got to be official ones that the state already has outlined correct?
So all in all, its just a personal statement of the company itself. Quick question, does anyone know a good 10/22 folding stock.
So you can't carry then.
[del]You can carry, as long as the gun's magazine is not loaded.[/del] My mistake, that depends on your county. In my county, you can't, but you can in some counties.
CZ-75, preferably B model. Ruger LCP, GP-101
Nooo, LCPs are a godawful pistols. They're woefully uncomfortable to shoot. That trigger pull length is just eughhhh
Didn't he post a picture of a M2 machine gun?
Not in the post I was replying to, no. He posted a picture of the model he was making, which cleared it up.
looks like the bill didn't go to congress....yet
Jesus Christ guys, it's not going to pass. Fuck
Jesus Christ guys, it's not going to pass. Fuck
Not saying it's going to pass, I'm just saying it hasn't even been intro'd.
Not saying it's going to pass, I'm just saying it hasn't even been intro'd.
You guys spent the last 24 hours making comments "I hope it doesn't pass", it won't
You guys spent the last 24 hours making comments "I hope it doesn't pass", it won't
The federal one probably won't pass, but that doesn't mean the state ones won't pass either. My state kneejerked already and passed laws so restrictive Canada has more lax laws on certain parts of gun laws than we do in the state of New York and that was last week.
Yea what happened? I thought today was the day?
Hey, so if I brought in an 80% receiver to a Gunsmith, do you think they would mill it out for me and, if so, how much do you think they'd charge for such a job? NuclearAnnhilation, I'm looking at you :v:
The AWB's introduction has been delayed to Thursday.
i have no idea, i dont even know why you're asking me lol
I think I may have confused myself :v:

Yeah, but is there a depth guide or anything like that? I really, REALLY do not want to fuck up a receiver.
Yeah, but is there a depth guide or anything like that? I really, REALLY do not want to fuck up a receiver.
You need a lower receiver jig, which should stop you from fucking it up and should allow you to get the correct dimensions. I really want to get one for my mill, I'd love to actually mill out the lower receivers for my next few builds. [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline] [img_thumb]http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg164/don29palms/Walnutdissipatorar15woodstockscom.jpg[/img_thumb] This is going to be my next AR if the AWB gets shot down, I'm dead set on it. Just with a 16-20" barrel. Wooden AR furniture is really growing on me.
Yeah, but is there a depth guide or anything like that? I really, REALLY do not want to fuck up a receiver.
they make jigs for it, they cost about $100 each (which would be cheaper than having a gunsmith do it) and the depths are usually printed onto the jig or with a sheet that came with the jig
they make jigs for it, they cost about $100 each (which would be cheaper than having a gunsmith do it) and the depths are usually printed onto the jig or with a sheet that came with the jig
By the sound of things, it would be cheaper to have a gunsmith do it rather than buying the jig :v: I have people telling me to buy a $100 jig and people telling me that a gunsmith will do it for $50-80.
So I made an ad on backpage looking for a private sale Nagant revolver near me for around 100 bucks not thinking anyone would in any way get back to me but lo and behold not 2 hours after I posted I got a response from a guy who just bought one from J&G and is willing to sell it (with holster) and 60 rounds of ammunition for $130. (He knows I'm 19) I've never done a private sale before so I'm a little nervous. I may have dug myself into a bit of a hole in some ways because I didnt expect any response but I'm actually living on campus right now and have no car here with me so I'm trying to figure out how I'll go to a private sale... Also I don't have anyone to come with me for support/safety. I talked to the guy today through text and he told me to call him tomorrow to set up arrangements.

Make sure and write/type a Bill of Sale for the firearm, and take note of the serial number and make sure both of you sign it. Google "Firearm Bill of Sale"

Google "Firearm Bill of Sale"
He suggested a place semi-close to my house (campus isnt too far from my house) so I could bus home, grab the car and drive to the place (which is a busy parking lot) then do the deal, and drive home to drop it off there, then bus back to school... That is a possibility haha.
