That's debatable, the NDP have annihilated their western base, their Quebec base only voted for them due to Layton, and the Liberals don't seem like they'll be able to pull out a candidate that can actually beat Harper. I say in 2015 it'll be a Conservative minority, and beforehand they'll promise to unban pistols to get gun owners to vote for them.
I wish but honestly I doubt it. Gun owners in Canada have no allies only those willing to throw them a bone for votes and I can see the overturning of useless shit being considered "radical"
The EOs don't ban private sales. They tell fed agencies to send out paperwork to dealers to explain how to handle private sales in the future. [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline]
The EO's were just thrown out there, they haven't gone through yet.
They become law as soon as he signs them, which he did.
The one that Diane Feinstein said she would introduce would ban anything with detachable mags and anything with a fixed magazine capacity over 5 (I think). All guns that are already like that would have to be registered (or buried in your backyard)
So if I just buy a lower and mags now, I couldn't even buy stock/upper/barrel, etc?
plus i can assure you no ones gonna stop you
I'm honestly not concerned. He thinks it might be a federal agent trying to run a sting operation on me. His basis for this is that in his email, he used proper grammar and stuff, instead of talking like "ey mang i wana buy dat ak, giv u $$$ fo it." Awesome, thanks for the info guys. [editline]24th January 2013[/editline]
So if I just buy a lower and mags now, I couldn't even buy stock/upper/barrel, etc?
The lower is the part you have to get through an FFL right? I think as long as the uppers are a certain barrel length and have no threading for a flash hider, you should be OK if you can find them for sale, but don't quote me on that, I haven't read the bill cause I don't understand politician [SUB][SUB]coward[/SUB][/SUB] speak.
OK gentlemen I need your help, I'm selling my AK tomorrow to a guy, normally this is all fine and dandy, but my friend I got going along with me is paranoid that it may not be legal because of the EO's Obama passed. Is that true, or am I in the clear? It's really no big deal to just transfer it at a gun shop or something, but it's just easier to do it in a parking lot and not have to pay a pawnshop extra.
Do an FFL transfer through a gun dealer as required by most state laws for restricted weapons. People need a background check done before buying weapons. Don't sell it in a fucking parking lot. Not sure why you are selling it to begin with. Keep that shit. Threading and flash hider is another question. Do I need to go through any bullshit for that for an existing weapon that I own (My AK) or a future weapon I want? Flash hiders seem easy to find online. Just curious. [editline]23rd January 2013[/editline] And how is this flash hider? Crap? Worth the money?
Possibly late but, here's a site that might clear it up :http://www.georgiacarry.org/cms/georgias-carry-laws-explained/frequently-asked-questions/ Basically, its totally legal as long as you are under the impression he is not a convicted felon. Edit: Although your not legally obligated to preform a background check, I'd check for criminal records just so you don't end up being ass raped in the back of a Denny's parking lot at 4 A.M. Safety First.

Otherwise, just sell it to a damn gun shop and be done with it.

I'm not too concerned about getting shot or stabbed or something. It'll be in front of a bar with 3 of my friends watching, 1 of which CC's.
Fair enough. Still sell it the right way dude. Don't be sketchy about it.
If this guy shows up with a swastika on his forehead or something like that , I'll call it off. But the guy is supposedly military so I'm not all that concerned.
Fair enough. Still sell it the right way dude. Don't be sketchy about it.
whats the right way? you can private sell on your roof if you want, theres no proper way to do it

[editline]23rd January 2013[/editline]
It will do: Nothing In all reality, this shit isn't going to make it to the floor for another 4 months, thanks to the economy, and the shitty way congress decided to handle the "fiscal cliff"
The fiscal cliff that they created and averted. Lulz.
Congress is dumb as fuck, I wouldn't put it past them to screw over gun owners. The solution to debt is to increase the maximum amount of debt that can be accumulated according to congress.
Dude cover your ass and just do an FFL transfer.
I got a bill of sale printed out that will sufficiently cover my ass. Honestly, if the guy wanted to kill someone, I doubt he'd buy a weapon legally, lol.

(aka private sale cash only, etc)
Better to be safe than sorry. Can you legally sell this where you are without an FFL transfer? (aka private sale cash only, etc)
yep
At my job we download (offload for the non airport workers) military planes every other day, an Atlas 747 came in with this in the front pit strapped down to a pallet with no cover on it. It is filled with M-16s, M9s, and M-4s. My gunboner was in space, and we got to touch all of them.
Hey guys. I got my gunsona drawn. Censored for good reason. [sp]It's furry shit, but the gear is mad cool[/sp]
The stock on that AK (?) looks rather bent....
my fucking 51T Brakeout didn't come with a shim kit. AAC is out of them too. FUCK.
my fucking 51T Brakeout didn't come with a shim kit. AAC is out of them too. FUCK.
Just use peel washers
The stock on that AK (?) looks rather bent....
Guy's not good at drawing guns, so I just told him to draw whatever. It can be an AR-15 or a tactifucked Ak depending on how you look at it. Ideally it'd be an LR-300 or a badass M4 or something.

Do I get to... er... 'misplace' one or two, on occasion? 'No?' Alright... :(
Hmm, I'm getting ideas...
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/01/24/southern-california-schools-get-high-powered-rifles/ This article makes me want to punch babies. "High-powered", "Can pierce body armor", "Those rifles have ricocheting ammunition ... they can go right through people" This is the type of shit the anti-gun campaigns grab from the media, articles that demonize guns with inaccurate information. It's not exactly high-powered, being able to pierce is completely dependent on the ammo used, and it's a gun, all guns can ricochet...
Hmm, I'm getting ideas...
When I get some money I'm gonna get a stamp and one of those cheap cans for my wasr. It'll probably work like shit but it'll be funny,
This is the day, gentlemen. This is the day the AWB goes to Congress. :(
Actually, I checked govtrack, and if that's anything to go by... It's still not there. I checked the "Coming up this week" and there was only 1 bill and has to do with federal pay. [editline]24th January 2013[/editline] Actually, nevermind, the bill is being intro'd today. I won't be surprised if it fails, but I won't be surprised if it goes through either. Either way, I'm screwed at least, being that I live in Emanuelnois.

This guy is my new hero: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2013/01/24/guns-and-president/. Pretty much everything I try to preach to people, in a nutshell. The argument is not about the guns themselves, it's about our RIGHTS.
