Pretty detailed information about her bill here, for those who still aren't aware: http://www.ibtimes.com/dianne-feinstein-gun-bill-text-list-guns-banned-details-assault-weapons-ban-2013-1037402
Also, it has all of the specifically named firearms at the bottom. I love it, the Ruger Mini-14 Tactical Rife M–14/20CF is banned, but not the regular Mini-14. Clearly not having an adjustable stock and pistol grip is going to hinder it completely useless.
No!!!! They are going to ban bump fire stocks! Fuck that shit!

glad we're getting these deadly guns off the streets.

Yup, those are much more deadlier than my 10/22.

Damn. I guess I won't be able to use my underbarrel RPG anymore
So I caught the beginning of their talk about it before heading off to class. When will there be a vote on it?

This is hysterical. I mean there is some serious comedy gold in here:
Hi-Point Carbine

All Thompson rifles, including the following::words:
If only this wasn't so serious and actually written down...
I doubt it will pass. I don't have too many worries. If it does, there will be a massive campaign to elect members who will repeal it.
Damn. I guess I won't be able to use my underbarrel RPG anymore
If you have it legally now, you can keep it and continue using it. The bill isn't retroactive.

I was making a joke. Because she wants to ban rifles with "rocket launcher attachments", which, to my knowledge don't even exist.

Yup, pretty sure there are no rifles/pistol mounted, rocket propelled attachments.

Its not like thats the only shit banned, because they pretty much cover everything in the cosmetic feature bans.
The legislation bans the sale, transfer, manufacturing and importation of:
 All semiautomatic rifles that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least one
military feature: pistol grip; forward grip; folding, telescoping, or detachable stock;
grenade launcher or rocket launcher; barrel shroud; or threaded barrel.
 All semiautomatic pistols that can accept a detachable magazine and have at least
one military feature: threaded barrel; second pistol grip; barrel shroud; capacity to
accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip; or
semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.
 All semiautomatic rifles and handguns that have a fixed magazine with the capacity
to accept more than 10 rounds.
 All semiautomatic shotguns that have a folding, telescoping, or detachable stock;
pistol grip; fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 5 rounds; ability to
accept a detachable magazine; forward grip; grenade launcher or rocket launcher;
or shotgun with a revolving cylinder.
 All ammunition feeding devices (magazines, strips, and drums) capable of accepting
more than 10 rounds.
 157 specifically-named firearms (listed at the end of this document).
The legislation excludes the following weapons from the bill:
 Any weapon that is lawfully possessed at the date of the bill’s enactment;
 Any firearm manually operated by a bolt, pump, lever or slide action;
 Assault weapons used by military, law enforcement, and retired law enforcement; and
 Antique weapons.
Easy solution, get an Armalite AR-18! Same thing as the 15, just with a better piston and all the working attachments of the 15! :D
/mildsarcasm
Because Franchi shotguns are so commonly used in crime and so are fucking Thompsons and...
Oh fuck it. That list is just too goddamned stupid. Its like they went into a gun encyclopedia and added anything remotely scary. I know that's a common sentiment, but holy shit!
heh
Canadian gun laws might be more lenient than American gun laws
what has the world come to
Also; when I heard Thompson being discussed, this is what instantly came to my mind:

Makes Canada's laws look real attractive,
The only really stupid gun law in Canada would be the 5rnd mag cap for rifles and the AK-type ban.

All gun laws are stupid
I should really just become an SOT or something

Waaait.. wait, wait. So she wants to ban every single firearm designed with that one, single term; and probably is so brilliant, she doesn't even know it. Right?
Also, my mistake. I thought the specific listings of different models was referring to a brand, not the specific design. Sorry
My favorite is the specific model of the Mini-14. Man, the stock on that tactical Mini-14 sure does make it a lot more deadlier than those ranch rifles!

How about the ban on a gun that doesn't exist, the HK G11? We have our whole list of banned guns, including AKs, AUGs, Thompsons, FALs, Barrett M82s & M90s, Uzis, Mac10s & 11s, Tec9s, and that's just the more popular ones.

G11 does exist. H&K did produce about a thousand of them if I'm not mistaken. However, getting your hands on one is highly unlikely. Still though, I do see the stupidity of it all.

Sub2000 is hard to get now too I believe.
I love how they want to ban the mini-14 by name but not the M14 or M1A.
How's it going? I'm in Sweden so i'm not into American politics.
I love how they want to ban the mini-14 by name but not the M14 or M1A.
They are only banning one model of the Mini-14, the one with a pistol grip and adjustable stock.
I think under this law the Archangel M91/30 stock would be illegal. Because detachable mags.
Bolt actions kill thousands of people, everyone!
