puny american bayonet [t]http://i.imgur.com/OzKzJ.jpg?1[/t]
the ameican bayonet looks way more intimidating and hey look, akm bayonet i have one
The American one's got more holes for aerodynamics so you can stab more babies faster.
And the holes are for attaching a grenade launcher
I dunno, I think this is pretty intimidating. [IMG_thumb]http://imgur.com/uIkfz.jpg[/IMG_thumb] That's my Bulgarian type 2.

i like how the smallest one is the only one that's mounted in the right spot

I wish. I've had those pics for I don't know how long. I found them on the net.
[QUOTE=ButtsexV3;38063352][img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/DavePAL84/random/knife-rifle.jpg[/img] not bayonet enough[/QUOTE] I'll have you know that you guys are responsible for my ever growing collection of hilarious gun pictures. Thank you :v:
Installed an old GI trigger on my Rail Gun last night. Picture makes the finish stand out a little more. Trigger is blued, and the rest of the gun is Cerakoted. Think I may get one of those DIY Cerakote kits and blast the trigger. On the flip side though, it's just going to wear anyway I guess. [img]http://oi48.tinypic.com/9u3q80.jpg[/img]
bayonets are the coolest ever

Just sent off an e-mail to my MP and he read and replied to it within two hours. Damn good response time compared to the CFO's processing time of six months and still no firearms license.

Does anyone actually use 45GAP? I know Glock came up with it and released a line of pistols in it but I haven't heard anyone saying they use it

Also I've fondled a civilian UMP before... nice rifle, though I like the Vector better.
I heard a good analogy comparing .45 GAP to .45 ACP once. "It's like trying to drive a railroad spike with a framing hammer when there's a perfectly good sledge hammer right there."
[QUOTE=download;38066135]I would do anything to own a UMP in .45 [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] Quick question. Does anyone actually use 45GAP? I know Glock came up with it and released a line of pistols in it but I haven't heard anyone saying they use it[/QUOTE] I fired a gun in .45 GAP once. it's a nice cartridge, but it's meant to address a problem that doesn't really exist in the platforms it's been included in. the only advantage is 11.43mm bore in a 9x19 size frame which would probably be pretty incredible in a single stack CC type weapon but to date is included in a grand total of maybe 5 guns and all of them have double stack magazines [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] a hot .45 GAP hits like a .45ACP, I wouldn't really call it a slouch in the energy department. [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] .45 GAP is a bit cheaper to reload than .45ACP too. it uses the same dies, same bullets, same powder, but it uses small pistol primers
I'd take it over a 9mm but not a .45acp
I'd love to have a kel-tec p-11 type gun in .45GAP [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] actually it would probably take pretty minimal work to rechamber a p-11 for .45GAP
$190 to go on the wasr. Not bad considering I don't have a job right now. (Farm work is tough when all the plants are dead :'<)

Anyone have any ideas on what to get? I was going to get either an SKS or some type of Mauser.

Seems GAP is slower than .45ACP in the lighter bullet weights (185grains), but faster in the heavy bullet weights (230grains), by only 20ms^-1.... [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] What do people think of 10mm Auto? I've been taking a look and I found that with 200 grain projectiles, the 10mm auto puts out 400ms, compared to 330ms with the same weight in the 45ACP

[QUOTE=ewitwins;38052986]Wait. Firearms are against Craigslist's "code of conduct", how'd you find that posting?[/QUOTE] Nope, just the local Craigslist. Where I live, if it's pre 1899, you can buy it just like anything else and not have to register. There's quite a bit of Civil War era muskets and cowboy related rifles being sold on craigslist, and some suspicious "deactivated" rifles, or "complete set of rifle parts" being sold as well. I've bought my fair share of pre-1899 guns from CL with no problems.

Basically it's a 40 that lets me hit even harder if I want. Otherwise I'd rather have a .45 for cost and price.
