also if your makarov has a 6 pound break you should probably tune down the trigger. I don't own a makarov so I haven't tuned one myself but I hear it takes nothing to get a mak trigger feeling better than a 92FS trigger I was able to tune my glock's 5 pound pull down to 3.5 pounds on the factory trigger. it's running an aftermarket trigger now and breaks at 1.75 pounds after some rather extensive tuning. no creep, little slack, little overtravel, short reset

Firearm safety should always be practiced no matter the circumstances. I would go as far as saying that you should have trigger discipline with a BB/Pellet rifle.

I always carry my guns chambered with safety off. My main carry gun is a glock 22 (the one with the 1.75 pound trigger) which doesn't even have a conventional safety and carrying a gun with an empty chamber is stupid because that's an extra second a would-be attacker might have to slap your shit [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] also there's nothing illegal or questionable or potentially identifying in a firearm serial number, best case you might be able to figure out the manufacturer or the production date
