also if your makarov has a 6 pound break you should probably tune down the trigger. I don't own a makarov so I haven't tuned one myself but I hear it takes nothing to get a mak trigger feeling better than a 92FS trigger I was able to tune my glock's 5 pound pull down to 3.5 pounds on the factory trigger. it's running an aftermarket trigger now and breaks at 1.75 pounds after some rather extensive tuning. no creep, little slack, little overtravel, short reset
not siding with the guy but he was talking about the double-action break
Wooooooow I've finally gotten my license approved. Three weeks and I've got a fancy piece of plastic. Two weeks after that I'll have a fancy piece of metal and plastic. Fuckin finally, after 9 months I have seen the light!
Glad to hear your MP could help you out on that. The only problem is now there's no need to give Harper a ring.

Such is life in corporate America.
I don't see how anyones getting arrested by putting a serial on the internet. The police might be able to identify you in a country with registrations, but why would they care?
^This pretty much. Assuming that where you are located actually has registration, all it does is link you as an owner of the weapon. Just being an owner does not make you automatically guilty of anything other than owning the gun at one point. Post all the serial numbers you want online, nothing is going to happen.

It's nice to see one getting something done for their constituent for once.
hey should i get a 10/63 or save up a bit more for the tantal
AFAIK Tantal doesn't have a chrome-lined barrel.
You know what? I think I'm using that for now on. A gruff, worn-out homeless man stares off into the distance as rich Wallstreet businessmen walk by without paying him heed, sneers on their faces and cash in their wallets. "Such is life in Corporate America".
hey should i get a 10/63 or save up a bit more for the tantal
go ahead and get it or wait a year or so to get the tantal, prices may jump up due to the election.
Prices ARE jumping. I just saw a WASR 10 on Armslist for $1000
HOLY SHIT START PANIC BUYING
Prices ARE jumping. I just saw a WASR 10 on Armslist for $1000
HAHA oh wow. That's hilarious. [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] Seriously If I paid $1000 for a wasr I'd jump out a window or something.
well armslist people are retarded

Thought they were pretty cool. [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] And in response to ridge about the wasr: http://www.armslist.com/posts/315292/palm-beach-rifles-for-sale-trade--wasr10-ak47--gunsmith-inspected- Holy shit.
Anyone have suggestions for cheap AR-15 lowers? I probably won't, but might succumb to the panic buying. It might be a good idea to have a lower that can accept 30 round magazines just in case some assault weapons ban limits us to fixed, ten round mags.
gonna buy me that tantal because obongo gon take ohu ganz
I think there are enough gun owners that were on the fence that Obama probably lost the election

The only stripped lowers left are these R Guns ones for $79.95
That just looks... Bad.
they're stamped for auto though that's pretty cool
they look like composite, are they? [editline]17th October 2012[/editline] if they're composite, it's probably not worth buying.
it's apparently anodized with 8625 which afaik only sticks to metals
well then it's fine as a temporary kind of deal, aluminum likes to scratch/bend/etc
I'd rather spend the extra hundred bucks and get something that will last.
All metal AR receivers are aluminum.
not all, but most. A friend of mine has one made out of titanium
I think there's a company that makes Titanium and Steel ones
