My newest addition to the collection. It's a Diamond Back DB-15 with a free floating barrel. Got Magpul MOE flip up sights and some PMAGS for it. I eventually want to throw on a Hogue grip and maybe a MOE stock.
I was serious when I asked about the price of that pistol.
Do I have to go to Serbia and smuggle it out or something?
Oh you'll get to Serbia. But you won't smuggle it out, or get out, actually I think they'll just shoot you for visiting.
Guh.
Was trying to get a side saddle on my mossberg for the past four hours.
Apparently, a pin got pushed out on the trigger assembly just sliiiiiiiiiiightly enough to prevent the action from cycling.
Fucking four hours for this.

Just because some stupid pin got dislodged a little.
Sigh... I guess that's what you get for buying cheep shotguns (It's a maverick 88 20gauge, not knocking mossberg or anything, but this IS a cheap shotgun [$150~]).
Oh well, looks nice with it on.
Got a shorter barrel for it too, was a 28" now I have an 18.5"
Gonna go grab myself a mossberg 500 tomorrow. Should I get the 5 shot that comes with a 18.5 inch and field barrel combo or the 8 shot persuader with 20 inch barrel I can adapt for field use with a $130 barrel?
Get the 8 shot, because I just got myself an 18.5" barrel for my maverick 88 (was a mossberg 500 barrel actually) directly from mossberg for $68~ and other 500 barrels are around the same price.
They said it would take a month to process, but it shipped to me in a week.
After a good 6 months of having a broken Dillon loader I decided I would take a crack at fixing it... took me 2 mins to find the problem and 30 to fix it. I then made 104 rounds of 9mm.
136g head with 5g of powder.

I need to get my ass in gear and get back to reloading...

That's a very nice handguard, actually. :v:

Piston or DI?
If it's free floating I'd assume DI.
I'm not very knowledgable on gas operations, are there any actual drawbacks to piston operation rather than DI?
Just more moving parts really, DI guns tend to be more accurate since they have no moving parts attached to the barrel, but they get hot and really dirty in the receiver.
Piston guns don't get hot or as dirty in the receiver and bolt which is why people like them, I put 100 rounds through my Ruger in rapid succession and while the barrel and gas block got too hot to touch for more than a second, the receiver was cool to the touch.
The other drawback is older piston ARs tend to wear out their buffer tubes, though my Ruger has a very blunt bolt carrier and Ruger claims that a wear pattern is expected to the finish but that it shouldn't continue to the point of causing a failure.

If it's not properly designed (most of them aren't in this aspect), it can cause carrier tilt, which gouges the buffer tube with the bolt carrier. Over time this can lead to a catastrophic failure right under your cheek.

DI. I was thinking about getting a piston but DI is what I know and it works fine as long as you take care of it. It's not like I'm swimming through a lake of mud with it.

Newest addition to the family.
WASR-10/63m
I shot it and fell in love with it.
Went through about 200 rounds of Tula yesterday. Not a single problem.
Bought it from a gunshop that a very good friend of mine owns and runs.
I'm thinking of getting another stock, as the one that's on it (and most other AK pattern rifles) is a bit short for me. They just aren't comfortable. What do y'all suggest?
http://aa-ok.com/ak-stock-set-american-walnut-usa.html
Thats what I bought for my WASR-10, its nice and comfy and the wood is gorgeous.
Some nice felonies on that website...

I honestly can't imagine why anyone would need a foregrip for a Glock.
I honestly can't imagine why anyone would need a foregrip for a Glock.
I suppose it'd make using a Glock with a stock more comfortable.
Of course, that just raises the question: Why is your Glock stocked in the first place?

I can't handle the recoil on this 9mm!
I honestly can't imagine why anyone would need a foregrip for a Glock.
D0od I put an AFG on mine, pure gat.
I put a UTG foregrip on my Glock 17 before... Was fun to shoot, but I got the stupidest looks at the range. Hip firing was actually kind of fun :v:
I honestly can't imagine why anyone would need a foregrip for a Glock.
The only Glock I can think of that it would make sense to put a foregrip on would be the 18C.
Shit, pageking.
Have a picture of my two newest family additions:

They're good if you want an AK without the price tag. They're not an excellent rifle, but for their price they are good.
Think of one as a nugget variant of an AK.
It's illegal to reload rounds in my country

[editline]20th October 2012[/editline]
It's also illegal to give away meat sourced from hunting without a state permit.
You need another special permit to move your gun from your house (anywhere, be it a gunsmith, a buyer, a hunting trip, whatever).
You need to pass a 180 question test before you can actually buy a firearm, and another 20 question test if you want to buy ammunition for it.
And obviously, you can't actually get the ammunition without state approval for each and every box of it or if you depleted your yearly quota.
IT'S INSANE
now I'm sad.

Sounds like Canada, except the reloading. If people actually followed the laws about reloading, though, it'd be way too annoying for anyone to do, you're apparently supposed to keep your powders and primers in a wooden box with a carry handle. Nobody does that, ever, at all. As for the permit, that's (thankfully) only for handguns here, but the fact that it exists at all means it can (and has in New Brunswick apparently) be applied to all guns in the future.

Yugo's are one of the best, if you plan on modding in the future. You can tell them apart by their flat, 90 degree gas pickup, 22mm grenade launcher and sight ladder.
