id totally join you if i didnt only have $40 to my name
Surplus is old production, were running out of that, but have plenty new. A lot of militaries are shying away from .308 in favor of 5.56 for DMs or heavier cartridges for proper snipers
5.56 just doesn't make sense to me in a DMR. If I planned things out, it'd probably be something like 5.56x45 or .300AAC for general use, stick with 7.62x51 for DM, and .338 Lapua for sniping platforms.

For the past couple years, the US has been digging M14s out of mothballs and assigning them to squad DMRs. The ARs in 5.56 don't have the range to reach the next mountain in Afghanistan, but the .308 is doing a better job of it. US surplus, Russian surplus?
Many different places. My 5.45 surplus is Russian. My .308 surplus is German. The preferred .30-06 surplus for Garands is Greek. Portuguese surplus .308 is highly sought after, but is nearly gone.
Hnngh http://www.sgammo.com/product/brown-bear/500rds-762x39-brown-bear-fmj-poly-coated-ammo Makes me wanna get an SKS for X-mas instead of a Moss 500
I don't care for bullpups, but my god, this looks amazing...
maybe if they moved the bolt handle to under the carrying handle but as is it's pretty goof [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] where do you even put your front hand?
maybe if they moved the bolt handle to under the carrying handle but as is it's pretty goof [editline]24th October 2012[/editline] where do you even put your front hand?
i would assume hand on top of the other hand

Also, will be going to the LGS tomorrow to try and find something to purchase. Maybe the AR-7 I've been having feels for the past few months?
And their grenade-launchers make no sense. [t]http://ayashi.net/foo/groza-ref.jpg[/t] Where's the normal trigger? Is it a double trigger? [editline]24th October 2012[/editline]
Maybe the AR-7 I've been having feels for the past few months?
AR-7? Do eet
Finally found a limbsaver that fits my NEF 12ga, unfortunately I found out that either the stock is misshapen or the holes are misaligned. It doesn't bother me too much that its crooked though.
Groza is best bullpup all time.

[editline]24th October 2012[/editline] AR-7? Do eet
There's two there AFAIK and neither one has sold since I spotted them months ago, one is pure black and the other appears to be a not so shiny white color (no clue what finish it is) and the former is $250 while the latter is $240. Should I pick up a cheap reflex for it if I do get it? I heard the sights are shit.
where do you even put your front hand?
Here apparently [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/4d/%D0%9E%D0%A6-14_2.jpg[/t] Geez that looks silly Not as silly as this though [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d0/%D0%9E%D0%A6-14_%D0%93%D1%80%D0%BE%D0%B7%D0%B0.jpg[/t]
The bottom one is a pretty common thing for SMGs without a stock.
except the bottom one is a suppressor, not a barrel shroud. A suppressor gets too hot to touch
Are people talking about AR-7s? If so, I own one and could lend some advice. The off white color you might have seen is probably the silver one, which replicates the U.S. Survival "Air Force" edition AR-7, and theres also a black version (I have) and a mossy oak version. The sights are OK, its a survival rifle not a goddamn race gun. They are hole and blade, and the hole on the back can be flipped to make the hole smaller with a screw. It shoots great, it really likes CCI lead ball .22, and the mags don't cut and rape your fingers like people lead one to believe. The accuracy is outstanding, and just the novelty of being able to make it so tiny makes the whole purchase worth it. DO IT

Do eet
I believe both triggers are beside each other so they can both be reached at the same time without moving your hand, as in, load a shell, aim, launch, proceed to fire rifle like normal. hold the groza like a rpg
hold the groza like a rpg
Wouldn't accuracy suffer terribly if you're holding it over your shoulder?
Wouldn't accuracy suffer terribly if you're holding it over your shoulder?
Sure, but you'll look like a badass.
Can't really argue with that. Bonus image found on ebaums without their watermark all over it!
Wouldn't accuracy suffer terribly if you're holding it over your shoulder?
get a drum mag accuracy? i'm not sure what that means
