I like the Mossberg 702 better. It's a carbon copy of the Marlin 795 but about $50 cheaper if it's on sale

In my model the piston doesn't operate the bolt, it operates the rammer which in turn operates the bolt, then the bolt is on a toggle which allows the rammer time to strip a round and position it before the bolt closes and chambers the round. That's the idea anyway, I played around with it in Phun for awhile and it worked, eventually I'll have to get around to finishing the proper rough draft so I can make an aluminum model or something, I haven't the tooling to make something so complex just yet.

What's a decent handgun to get for $200-300? This okay? http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/1089/products_id/18161/VIP+FAST+TRACK I've had great experiences with Ruger.
Either that link is borked or my phone doesn't like it.

Or a nice 1911.
What's so bad about Ruger?
What's so bad about Ruger?
Nothing, just saying what I would do if I was in your shoes. I have a couple Rugers, nothing wrong with them - I just think you could have something nicer if you waited just a bit.
I broke the first rule of AK....KISS
What's so bad about Ruger?
I've shot Ruger pistols before, it was nice. But the way I see it if you can find a ruger for 300 then you can find a glock for that or slightly more. And I like shooting glocks more than ruger. (That said try a glock and if you find you still like the ruger more than ignore us, cause price don't matter if you can't hit shit with it.)
I want an F2000 Boating looks fun.
Beautiful. How much did the whole setup run you? The furniture I bought today for about $250 (the stock tube alone is $90) and the compensator was another $85. I used the cash I got from selling the 1911 to buy that stuff. :) GI mags are pricey for the gun. Circle 10 mags run about $25 each. The bakelites $40 ea. Tapco mags are definitely cheaper, but I just don't care for tapco stuff.

Just found out the jackasses at Clear View Investments didn't bother including a number of small parts and springs in my VZ-58 parts kit, plus only a week or two after I get mine, Apex is having a half-off sale on folding stock VZ-58 kits. FML :| Oh well, looks like it's Numrich to the rescue. Luckily I'm only missing six parts, and one of them I can pretty easily fabricate myself.
VZ-58 is a pretty neat looking gun. How's it like?
Like a pile of parts atm. It's a pretty neat action though, from what I can tell. It has a falling block type bolt kind of similar to an SKS, just with a striker fired system instead of a hammer. Plus it has stripper clip guides on the bolt, so you can load it like an SKS or an AK, which kicks ass. I should be getting an Ohio Rapid Fire receiver for it either today or tomorrow, plus the 922r parts a little while after that. So it shouldn't stay parts for long.
People buy them here because they look like an AK, and the AK is banned simply off looks, so this gun is a slap in the face of that ban. I hear they have some feeding issues, though.
