If only steam support was this great
You know some dude tweeted the jagex support team saying their account got stolen, and they put a streamers RSN.
Jagex actually locked that account.
Also play osrs. Not rs3.
As far as I know the only way to play using my old account is with RS3. Or am I missing something?

you use the same account to access both games

Aw, I have to start over. That's a shame.
would you rather to have your stats in a shitty game or spend some effort (which is far less than child-you remembers) getting those and better stats in a better game

Well I would have preferred having the stats from the shitty game in the better game, so I could just pick up and go from where I basically left off, but I mean I get your point :vs:

I felt the exact same way. However because I had prior knowledge from when I used to play I was able to catch up absurdly fast to the point where I had to question what the hell was I even doing all those years ago. Starting from square one and just burning through those early levels and quests made me feel great.
I somehow logged into my old account for the first time in like 12 years and for some reason my character is a girl

3 hours later and I'm Combat Lvl 20 with 50k gold in the bank. This shit took me WEEKS when I was little. Goddamn.

This happened to me - I stopped playing just after the Recruitment Drive quest were you need to change gender to beat the quest :v:

Most of the lower levels go by lightning-quick in RS3, because Jagex introduced a lot of ways to get pretty quick XP. I'd argue that this was a really good thing for keeping players interested by reducing the grind for a lot of things, but it means that most people end up accidentally ignoring low-level quests and content until they've vastly outleveled it.

ohhhh shit that's right. that's probably why
Good ol days of spending your friday night with a bunch of kids from school on Runescape, usually hanging around on teamspeak or MSN messenger, eating a bunch of chips and energy drink and play till 2 AM.
I still get haunted by people who want my rare clothing items

Pretty tempted to buy some keepsake keys so I can wear my chicken costume and rubber chicken in combat.
I just finished watching the documentary, and that was really nice! Was saddened to hear about how Andrew just kind of left the company. I love the fact that they had short segments on Zezima and the Falador Massacre though, haha. I thoroughly enjoyed that documentary, didn't know that much about Runescape's history and it's always cool to hear a story that something so big spawned from a small project in someone's basement
I was in the awkward position of being the only person out of the people that actively played the game in my group that was f2p because the concept of a subscription to a game was unacceptable to my family. Thankfully my friends didn't (or at least didn't appear to) have any issue occasionally jumping into the f2p worlds to help me with shit.

I'm not playing RS3 though :vs:
