That was not elitism. If I wanted to be an elitist, I would have said, "HAHAHA AMERICA SUCKS, EUROPE IS WHERE IT'S AT. WE ROCK, BUT AMERICANS ARE SHIT." I don't even agree with that.
But my point was that the general public don't take very kindly to swearing, and go to extremes to censor it, whereas in most other places swearing is used more casually.
I got kicked out of a steam group for saying fuck to a member in an chat thing.
