I re-paint and purchase newer nicer parts for my BMX bike every spring, I paint it right so it's really sexy. I'm looking to get a good mountain/street bike this year. I rode my BMX bike (without breaks installed) through NYC traffic and it was fucking intense, but I feel a mountain or road bike would better suit some of the cycling I'd like to do.
give this a watch.
Thanks! That was awesome, I'm pretty good but he's better than me, but yeah brake-less in NYC ruins tires & shoes.
Cannondale F7. I fucking love it, but my current brakes are like wailing dolphins. They work fine, but they are so god damn loud. Also diskbrakes represent.
Specialized Hardrock Disk Haven't been taking great care of it recently though - It needs a good clean and oil.
Kross Hexagon v6 Bought this bike last summer, hadn't cycled for a few years before that. Enjoyed riding this motherfucker to the seaside or the lake almost every day last summer. Used it mostly for leisure and fast travel. I'm not too keen on the welding marks and the seat tho, but overall it's a pretty damn great bike. Now it just sits inside because of the terrible and slippery weather. Hope to get it up and running again in a few months. This summer me and my buddies have planned to go on a bike adventure riding about 200 miles with the destination being my friends' country house. I hope it's going to be awesome. :3:
a Mirraco 5 star option BMX, Im not very good but Im getting the hang of it, spent last weekend from 7 till 7 BMXing with some friends, and I finally learned to goddamn bunnyhop :argh:
Its snowing sideways here in Sweden at the moment so no biking for a while, love me some long, chilled out bike rides though
Have a mountain bike, can't remember the make off of the top of my head, but it's good enough. Go mountain biking every one in a while, but it's a bit difficult in a country that... well... doesn't really have any 'mountains'. Just a few small hills. When it's a nice day sometimes dad and I will go for a long cycle around a portion of the bay (Melbourne). Cycle from here in Point Cook all the way down to the West Gate bridge (maybe 30km around the bay if I had to guess) and then cycle to the closest train station and head back home. Would cycle home but by that point I'm usually pretty badly sunburned anyways, and it's starting to get late.

Transport/touring cyclist here, got a standard bike thrown together on an old pugeot frame, would be interested in a fixie though.
sorry to bump this, but I didn't want to make another thread does anyone else ride on the road in the bike lane? I've decided that I should start riding on the road instead of the sidewalk because where I ride there are several side streets where cars make right turns in to. the chances of the drivers seeing me coming off the sidewalk and into the street aren't that good, and I'd probably be run over eventually.
I use my mountain bike for anything :D Here's my baby... [img_thumb]http://www.beelinebicycles.co.uk/media/6c7dcdeb/2011%203500%20Orange.jpg[/img_thumb] ride all day, err' day.
wow, so sexy stuff.
