Anyone got a picture of that M4 reciever where it says "Peace through superior Firepower" ?
My Christmas present after some assembly: It's survived over thirty years of being battered around by trainees, being cramped up in storage, intense fighting and finally being torch cut by the ATF after importation. It's my job to get it working again (within legal limits, anyway).
how is the barrel, I heard yugo kits have absolutely horrendous barrels
how is the barrel, I heard yugo kits have absolutely horrendous barrels
Pretty bad, but the grooves are still nice and strong, I'm sure after I shoot it a few times it'll clean up okay.
My Firearm of choice would be, The McMillan Tac-50 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle. I have no idea why but I prefer this over the Barret 50
If they're open tomorrow, I'm gonna go down to Dunham's and maybe walk out with something cool. I've been wanting a Mosin-Nagant 91/30 for a while, so probably one of those, if they're still decently cheap, and I see one I like. EDIT: And Mug, is that barrel long enough? It doesn't really look 16 inches for some reason.
you make me want to buy a bren gun kit.
Good luck with that...
Just over 16 inches. Well within legal limits.
I think the stock makes the barrel look disproportionately short, perhaps.
I think the stock makes the barrel look disproportionately short, perhaps.
It's the longer handguards. They're about two inches longer than standard AK handguards with an extra cooling vent, which makes the barrel look shorter. Heres a pic of my Colt Trooper Mk. III (.357 Mag). I worked at burger king a whole 4 months to buy this. Got hi-res of the bottom pic? I need a new desktop...
I hate this Gun Vs Firearm argument, A gun is a device that shoot's projectiles at speed with a controled explosion so rifles, cannons, pistols, shotguns, RPG's and so on are all GUNS!
I find it really unlikely that anyone in Facepunch's population (read: dorks/preteens) has even seen, let alone fired a gun before. incoming claims of superiority
Technically your calling your self an preteen dork. Mike - (22)
No you don't. The A2 was made after '86 so you do not have it. Sorry for bursting your bubble.
Its semi auto
thumper :)
Beating Hathcock (who used a machine gun) by only 144 yards. The other guy took 3 shots one hit the ground, one hit the guys backpack and the force turned him streight towards the third which would have probebly missed him if he didn't turn.

Also if you hadn't had a chance to shoot it yet I highly recommend you do so. Shooting .357 mag takes a bit of practice. Start with .38 Special (which a .357 can chamber and fire without any problems), move on to .38+P and finally .357 loads. Do it until you're comfortable and confident that you can effectively and accurately shoot that weapon under stress. Also I hope you have a cleaning kit for that thing because contrary to their simplistic appearance revolvers need to be cleaned too. Depending on the ammo in your case every couple hundred rounds or so.

Also the jamming was not caused by me not being able to hold the kick because its a gas fed pistol and even with the strongest person holding it it jammed. [editline]04:15AM[/editline] Does anyone know were i can get a Revolving rifle like this one... note this is just a help guide.

You can get the one pictured above here. http://www.uberti.com/firearms/revolver_carbine_and_buntline.php
Fuckin media that! And no i was looking for a more modern thing... i want one because in Australia its illegal to have Semiautos but a Revolving Rifle isn't a semiauto.

They're all in pistol calibers as well.

I don't know much about firearms, only thing I ever fired was a .22 rifle, and I think I fired a 20 gauge shotgun once. but one of these days I would like to own a Dragunov SVD (the old kind with the wooden parts) and a walther p99.
in the next couple days I'm picking up my Cz-82 =D, I am so fucking excited about that, from everything i've heard though it kicks like a bitch for a 9x18 Mak.
