Your an idiot. Your two pistols both have a Trigger safety. unless the trigger is pulled properly (with a finger) it won't go off. you should know this if they are your guns.
There is no manual safety, your finger shouldn't be on the trigger unless you intend on shooting the firearm anyways. [editline]07:30PM[/editline]
I can't believe I have seen a person advocating carrying in condition zero... that's like admitting to fucking your grandmother.
[editline]04:20PM[/editline] The guns not just going to go off by itself. :) Also FYI The mechanical differences dictate that the Conditions of Carry vary from weapon to weapon. For example, the 1911 is mechanically different than the Glock 22. Since a 1911 has an external hammer and mechanical thumb and grip safety it will be carried differently than the Glock.
you guys are all idiots... Guns fire like this [/troll]
that has no magazine
I can't believe I have seen a person advocating carrying in condition zero... that's like admitting to fucking your grandmother.
I don't advocate it, but unless I have a super light trigger, I carry condition 0. With any da/sa it's just common practice. With a glock, pretty much the same as well. 1911 is about all you really need to carry with the safety on... That and similar single action platforms.
even though they fire the same caliber m40's muzzle velocity is over half more than m14
Don't know about that. Maybe you could show us some data. Either way though, that won't double or triple the knockdown power. A .308 will kill within 1 or 2 center-mass hits.

Should be around 200fps increase in velocity, which is 370ft-lbs of energy using standard issue 147gr ball ammo.
A firearm That is all.
Does anybody know if the Steyr SPP is legal in any state of america?
Totally. DSA even makes a copy of it. Originals. Since I live in the UK, reading this thread makes me feel depressed :crying:
It's not all bad. You can still get your hands on some shotguns and rifles.
It's not all bad. You can still get your hands on some shotguns and rifles.
Break-action shotguns and bolt action rifles is as exciting as it gets. Pump or Semi-auto's? SWEET CRUMPETS BAN IT, FORBID IT, THE PERSON COULD ACTUALLY HAVE SOME FUN AND FUN LEADS TO MASSACRE'S AND MURDERS AND VIGILANTISM!:derp: [img_thumb]Kidding aside you are allowed pump shotguns and semi-auto shotguns but the ones that are commonly found are pretty shitty and they cannot have a capacity higher than 2 or 3 shots and have to have a barrel longer than 26 inches. It baffles me that anyone can even think it's a good idea to have a pump shotgun with only one pump rail on it instead of two.[/img_thumb]
does it look like i really care about your shitty opinion? Nope. :smug:
Hey guys, this bro is not 19. He's a furry child who sits around and plays Garry's Mod and uploads his shit on DeviantArt.
Has anyone ever bought from Mitchell's Mausers? Because I might get one from there.
Has anyone ever bought from Mitchell's Mausers? Because I might get one from there.
Where is said shop?

I found some old pics of my Remington 870 and Remington 11-48 (Mohawk 48) shotguns, so I thought I might as well post them, as well as a comparison of 12 and 20 gauge shells.
Has anyone ever bought from Mitchell's Mausers? Because I might get one from there.
Going off some of the things I've heard other people say about them, so this isn't my own experience, but the opinions are very mixed. One recurring complaint is that they claim to offer clean, unissued Mausers. That's what you see in the ads. They practically sparkle. When in fact many are often Russian captured and periodically mismatched. The exact condition varies. Naturally the better ones cost more. Also some are postwar production, contrary to what they advertise. http://www.gunandgame.com/forums/mausers/22483-mitchells-mausers.html http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=2096 Good shooters, but because of the way they're restored they have no collector's value at all. And pretty much everything they have is overpriced. So don't bother.

I'm getting an exellent condition k31 in like 2 months :D
I'm getting an exellent condition k31 in like 2 months :D
Any, um, preemptive pics?
Wow...SPAS-12? That thing is way worse than what is portrayed in games. Get a 870MCS.
870's are long though. Like most shotguns.
I want an dragunov.
I want an dragunov.
Somebody brought that up earlier. In the US only a few made it in before import bans were put in place, so they cost thousands upon thousands. You can get far better rifles for less. The only thing close to a Dragunov that is affordable is a PSL which looks similar, fires the same round and uses the same scope but it is directly based off the AK-47 while the Dragunov isn't. So it isn't the same thing. But those cost just under a thousand dollars so it's not a bad deal.
870's are long though. Like most shotguns.
Get a security or a tactical one then you ninny. Far shorter barrels same (if not more) capacity and look and sound fookin cool.:c00lbert:

What's a good first gun to get that isn't too expensive?
What's a good first gun to get that isn't too expensive?
Ruger 10/22
I wouldn't do that. I've seem too many pics of idiots who have shot themselves when it could've been avoided.
Just don't pull the trigger. It's really simple and not hard at all to avoid. It's especially easy with a DA/SA gun, having a 10 pound trigger pull generally for the 1st shot. Guns don't fire themselves. I've been carrying like that since 2006.
