I reckon that electric motor is probably only chucking out around 20-30BHP. For what it weighs, why don't they ditch it and save the weight. I know it's good for low-end tourque but let's face it... The point of a sports car is to drive it hard, so it's still gonna pollute a lot more than your average car + if you own a 'sports' car, you probably don't care about the environment. Like me :smug:
Instant torque. Better to have some ft-lbs at idle takeoff than none, no?
Here's the video I made for the team, of this weekends drifting.
I like how the 260z is just as sexy stock as modified like the page king pic
You guys are posting rare Japanese cars that most people don't even use as a daily driver. How about some common ones. I'm pretty sure that thing has a supercharged H8 in it.

I wonder why they took the image down. It was this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Elysion And look at a picture of a Japanese city in recent times. All of the cars are boxy like that. [editline]24th April 2011[/editline] Found one
I want a daily like this one. Would be fun to go to work in. Atm, working butt off so I can put it in something comfortable when done.
ahh who elce fits a ridiculously large wing straight from the factory.
Dodge I had too, even if it's 7 pages late.

Do Datsuns count as Japanese cars? [editline]25th April 2011[/editline] Wait, of course they do.
Ohai, so I herd u h8 big wings? Beep beep [editline]26th April 2011[/editline] On topic, I've been kinda wanting a 240 but man, the 200 is as nice if not better because of the angles. Looks like an AE86.
s12 200sx, ae86, i cant tell the difference
All 80's cars look the same. [editline]26th April 2011[/editline]
Not really :| There were 3 body styles in the 80s; Wedge, Hatchback-Box, and Notchback-Box. So any given ~30% of cars in the 80s look the same :smug:
s12 200sx, ae86, i cant tell the difference
u dumb?
80s cars all look the BEST
s12 200sx, ae86, i cant tell the difference
If I had an S12 with a swap and cruised around in it, and some dickhead was like "lol that car is stupid corollas are pieces of shit" I would probably murder that fucker.
Both of them are awesome.
Depending where you live, not such a great choice as a daily.
Aside from the gas consumption, I'd think it would be a reliable car. That is, if I use it correctly and make sure I don't skimp on the maintenance. Why not? I'd think the RX-8 would get me to work faster than any other Mazda I'd driven.
And with less MPG's
This elderly couple in my town have two 240sx's bone stock. One red, one blue. The guy also has an El Camino!
Wootwoot, finally got my CF Targa mounted (also from the "show your ride" thread): 1989 Toyota Supra Mk3 Single Turbo
I wasn't really paying attention to what thread I'm in. But from the brake lights I kinda thought it was an older Tempo.
What? I... don't see the similarity. In either generation.
I've decided I want a Supercharged RX-4.
