Computer Addiction: My Problem, and how I need something else to do - General

There is so much irony resonating from this thread. All the big "men" with thousands of posts talking down to the "socially retarded" child with only 400 posts. It's almost like the people who spend the most time here are in denial and project that on anyone who shows the same weaknesses or insecurities they themselves feel. I think that's the reality of the internet.

If you enjoy computers why leave them? Unless it's due to something medical I don't see why you should. This might not be what you're looking for but try something that's not a total waste of time on a computer, learn a programming language, make an animation, make a 3d model, there's a crazy amount of stuff you can do that is actually worth it, and can earn you a job which is great if computing is what you enjoy. If you want to leave computers, just turn it off and go outside, it's not hard.

On a serious note. I am a huge BMX fan and have around 3 customs in my house not including my dads place. So yeah whenever I feel like a total nerd for reading hundreds of threads and watching numerous fail videos. I take my baby (HuckJam Tony Hawk BMX 20') for a spin all around Tennessee.

Trust me, it gets better when you get to High School, and things REALLY kick off at College. Overall, I'd say get to know people better at your Middle School, since you'll probably be stuck with the same people in High School, might as well make it enjoyable.

Well I didn't bother reading the whole thread so, take up music, drawing, and sports. Those are 3 options full proof to keep you busy and active. Also it'll leave sometime to use the PC moderately so everythings balanced and you live a healthy lifestyle.

Get some friends who live near you, and build a LAN gaming room, have them over and you guys will start coming up with ideas to do shit, and then you will do all sorts of fun shit, and you will be spending less time on the computer. Trust me.
