"Chasing the Dragon" means smoking heroin. Like off of aluminum foil, you smoke the bead of oil or whatever through a straw as it runs around.
Someday I plan on smoking heroin laced weed, as well as heroin by itself of course.

Indeed. Chasing the Dragon is a pretty specific term for Heroin. Smoking Heroin is such a waste. Not sure why people even bother.

Heroin burns at a very low temperature which means if it's in a joint it'll get burned more quickly than it needs to be. You may get a bit out of it but it's mostly a waste of Heroin. Good mix though, weed will kill the awful opiate nausea.

why not opium laced weed or just opium? That's like saying "i wanna smoke weed laced with coke", neither of which are freebased

Indeed. Smoking non-freebased chemicals generally doesn't give you much effects and non-freebased stuff is often bad for your lungs too.

Well opium and heroin have different actives, opium being mostly morphine and heroin being diacetylmorphine, and Ive had quite a bit of morphine in the past and I cant say I enjoy the high nearly as much as other opiates like oxy, so Im interested to see how the diacetylized form works on me.
Also, its not that hard to freebase a powder like heroin, as well as the fact that some heroin comes in freebase normally, sometimes with caffeine added to make it vaporize better. I agree lacing powder heroin in a joint would be a bad idea, but I could see black tar working if opium does.
I do plan on growing some poppies this year, and possibly trying my hand at making some derivatives. But basically what Im getting at is theres two different effects profiles Id like to try out :science:
