Guys this is what I've heard people say about this game. It's gotten a LOT of bad, horribly misinformed press.
it may have bad press but it has weeb appeal which is invulnerable to bad press
All of this has me begging the question: Is it possible to get rid of all of your rivals (or at least "persuading them" to stay away from senpai) without actually murdering anyone? A pacifist runthrough might actually be harder than a violent runthrough.

They get their crushes, you get senpai. Probably gonna be the route I go down first because I'm a big cry babby and can't be evil in games. The second run, though...aw yeah, carrying around the dismembered body parts of my classmates in a guitar case, here I come!
I really love a lot of the mechanics in this, probably gonna buy it at this point.
I'm very interested in the 1970's mode that is apparently being added- it's basically a hard mode where you play as [sp]Yandere-chan's mother[/sp], where there are canonical deaths and no technology past the 80's. The concept alone sounds very interesting, so I wanna see where that will go.
Now I just want to play this as a slice-of-life schoolgirl simulator even more.
