shame. if you go back you should totally do it
africa isn't really a "tropical" continent...
Sorry boss
The Netherlands!
africa
Come to Melbourne!
We can all meet up and egg Julia Gillards house!
I'd just go someplace warm as hell.
Sydney is ballsack.
Come to Melbourne, Australia.
We're fucking amazing here.
Go to Monaco and drink cheap beer while sleeping in a cardboard box in the middle of the street.
I'm not going to north Korea or Africa, or most of the middle east.
Why not? whats wrong with Africa? :colbert:
Actually, go to New York.
Where in the world? PC WORLD
Come to Singapore! It's a nice place, with a shit load of tourist attractions plus the food here is great. Anything from Sentosa (It's an island resort, has a shitload of awesome stuff) to the Singapore Flyer (World's tallest observational wheel as of now), then to the fantastic food.
Also, I live in Singapore.
No. I live there and he'll be bored in five minutes. The people suck, are rude, and bogan as hell.
Go North Korea.
No, I live in New Zealand as well and it's a nice country for vacation, shit-hole to live in.
No, I live in New Zealand as well and it's a nice country for vacation, shit-hole to live in.
Vacation to a beach and such, but that only works if you already live here. Its not great for tourists and not equipped for them either.
Go Australia.
again, the netherlands
Denmark!! I'll give you free beer if you come :D
Great Bear Forest, Canada.
It's the only temperate rainforest left on Earth and it is beautiful. I think you should look into it however, because I'm not sure if you're allowed to visit the forest without a guide or at least without having some sort of survival expertise at hand.
If you're more into tropical paradise there's always the Fiji islands.
- All I can say is, go somewhere you would'nt normally have gone to. It's a one chance in a life-time to experience something that nobody else around has tried.
Go everywhere Matt went.
Vacation to a beach and such, but that only works if you already live here. Its not great for tourists and not equipped for them either.

There's a lot of good places to stay in New Zealand, it's just obscured by the racism and the shit economy.
Go to England then Wales then Scotland. You don't have to get a plane or anything. You can drive. Or you could just go to London and look at all the millions of tourist spots.
Venice. Them crazy motherfuckers got BOATS instead of cars! Shit's so cash.
Very expensive though.
I'm not going to north Korea or Africa, or most of the middle east.
then i think you should go to S.E. asia. once you've got a flight out there everything is cheap as chips, and there are some amazing things to be seen.
thailand is probably the most touristy country, but there's still a lot of good there. bangkok is smelly, but has some wonderful temples (if that's your kind of thing). not to mention all of the islands on the coast, phuket, koh phi phi (where The Beach was filmed). do you dive? if so you could have some great times there. obviously there are some tourist traps but if you're sensible enough then i'm sure you'd get on fine.

vietnam is becoming more popular with tourists than it used to be, and is a great place to go. do you ride a motorcycle? or (if you're willing to learn whilst you're there) then why not hire a couple of motorcycles and bike down from hanoi along the coast to ho chi minh. did you see the top gear where they did that?

you've also got cambodia and laos, maybe burma/myanmar if you head further west, but if you're up for travelling when you get there then there's not much stopping you going anywhere you like.

now if you want to know about borneo then feel free to PM me (i spent 3 months there last summer) but whilst it was amazing for the things i was doing (volunteering and chartible malarky) but for your average tourist (no offence!) you might be better on the mainland in that area (i.e. malaysia, indonesia etc.)

java looks amazing and is somewhere i am planning to go in a few years. there's a lot of historical stuff there, including this amazing place called borobudur (see pics). what i like about java is because of it's - relatively - small size, you can start at one end of the island and work your way down. or even start in sumatra and make the hop across to java.
[img_thumb]http://bangjotours.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/borobudur-nothwest.jpg[/img_thumb]
china - now, regardless of what you think of them politically, there is no denying that it is an amaaazing country. i spent just under a month there a few years ago and was amazed by it. given the size of the country there's - unsurprisingly - an awful lot to see. i'm just going to show you some pictures of the rough journey we made so you can get an idea since writing it all would a) bore you b) take too long
