All I know about 4chan is that there isn't a single person who claimed to browse any part of it who I didn't already think was an utter moron/terrible poster so I guess that's what my opinion of it being bad is based on.

4chan has the most hilarious and exaggerated memes. Honestly the card stand shit is hilarious on /b/ and OP never delivers which makes it even more funny. It's loads of lulz. You can get sauce on anything there if you try hard enough on /r/ and info threads are amazingly useful. /x/ is fun for making up funny-but-scary stories. /gif/, well you can understand what is usually on /gif/. There's plenty of boards for a bunch of crap people are into which offers a lot of variety. It's a fun site when you are bored.
