He did. He explained he should throw that tablet away and get his ass to drawspace.com. And the rest is indeed too obvious.
I suggest you keep the tablet, try put more time into your drawings, take lots of references (sketch if you have to, it could give you a better idea of what you need to do). I'm not sure if this helps but that drawing isn't great. All the lines are the same thickness and the eyes look very strange.
Sam, don't even attempt to become an artist if you can't take criticism. And I mean mean, harsh, in your face, not sugarcoated criticism. That's the world. And if you think you're going anywhere with art, where you wanna actually audition for a design company or something of the like, you think they're going to tell you what to improve on? No, they just won't hire you. You won't sell your art. This is the time to listen.
3v3ry gave me harsh criticism too in my art thread, and you know what? I said thank you and I took what I thought I could from it. Because that's what you do if someone takes the time to write all of that out for you. You could have not gotten any replies. You don't have to agree with what they write to still be glad that they wrote something at all.
If you're not ready for your art to be torn apart, don't post it. If you think there's a chance that it will, then it's not good enough, so don't post it.

I did nothing to go against the rules in my first post. I postponed the constructive part untill I heard why he bought the tablet. Then I gave him the only possible advice - to start from somewhere.

The hell is with everyone assaulting each other lately? I understand the reasons for your advice but the attitude has turned all "FUCK YOU" lately and I'm getting sick of it.
I know the harshness is part of the learning process to get things through to people, but at least be encouraging about it. Next time this happens [i]everyone[/i] is getting banned for flaming.
