I'm disappointed, not because I think this game is going to suck (As long as they don't change a lot its pretty much just a re-skinned Halo) I'm more disappointed about the fact that Microsoft isn't developing new IPs they're pretty much just sticking to what they believe sells. Which as we all know Halo fan-boys are going to eat this shit up. But eventually people are going get tired of playing the same game (Halo series, Gears of war, etc.) But there won't be anything new for the player to latch on to.
Here's hoping Microsoft starts developing new IPs.

Why the hell have you got an original IBM pc in the first cell?
People need to stop complaining about a lack of PC release, and how it wont be a true Halo remake until there is a PC release. Halo was an Xbox exclusive, and so wasn't every single other Halo game. With CE, Gearbox just kinda asked Bungie "Hey, can we put this on the PC for you? I mean, it'll boost sales a little bit". With Halo 2 PC, I don't know what they were thinking.
Back around 2000 when Xbox came out the first thing I saw of that gen was Silent Cartographer, there was nothing like it back then, it was an amazing experience. Then when 360 came out the first I saw of that was Gears of War and it blew my mind again, it was an entirely new level of presentation and gameplay. I can't wait to see the jump we'll see in the next gen.
Milk that series, Bungie. Milk it good.
17 or so final fantasy games isn't milking, but 6 games in halo series is.

Bungie isn't making it.
I really hate people complain about games like Halo being 'milked' when they are not. No one complains about dozens of Sims games and expansions, or about Mario being in about 200 games, or Final Fantasy, Pokemon Etc.
There have been more Half-life Games than Halo.

It's different when it's expected. We were told Reach was the end. Now three more games plus this are coming out? Think about it.

we were told that Reach was Bungie's last Halo game, and it was just that.
everyone saw it coming that Microsoft would keep riding on the franchise's success
Is it on PC? If not I don't care already.
Technically Reach was Bungies last Halo game, this is being made by Microsoft.

No, this is being made by 343 studios, which IIRC is a collection of Bungie members who wanted to keep working on Halo, along with some newbies.
I am not interested at all, Halo 1 never struck me as all that good, and making it with better graphics probably will not save it. We shall see I suppose, but I expect more of the same, but that's what I have always expected with Halo.
No, this is being made by 343 studios, which IIRC is a collection of Bungie members who wanted to keep working on Halo, along with some newbies.
Ya, but ultimately 343 is a subsidiary of Microsoft, and Microsoft are the ones who own the rights to the Halo Series. But yes I was wrong it is being made by 343.

But Halo has really never been more of the same. With every game there has been a large flow of additions, and Halo 2 made Regenerating health popular (For better or for worse).

For worse in FPS games, for the better in RPG's (IMO)
