age has nothing to do with it. i was mature and responsible at around the age of 12. i bet if i had started drug use then i wouldn't be any worse than i am now.
There really isn't anything wrong with smoking weed everyday, if you can't handle being high and being productive, get high after work/schoolwork is done.
yea im lucky i did about year 11 i thought shit, schools is getting semi serious now i should sort my head out, its a shame i was the only person out of my group of freinds that did so.
it's not being able to be emotionally stable without getting buzzed. there isn't anything wrong with smoking constantly, in fact i will probably be at a point where i'm always burning a j after i get better. but i don't want to be dependent on it just to function and get out of this fucking slump. i should be able to be myself and function properly without drugs at all. they should just take the edge off, not be the reason why i get out of bed.
There really isn't anything wrong with smoking weed everyday, if you can't handle being high and being productive, get high after work/schoolwork is done.
i was never a good student like never did homework etc but corsework i tryed to do on time, but i personaly couldn't do it as i would rather go out and get stoned. i think if i could of smoked at home i would have been okey but i was allways round a mates garage and didn't like going home really stoned in fear of pearnts kicking the shit out of me for it.
i remember a time when i enjoyed a joint each night as i did my homework. got the best grades i've ever had. school is wonderful when you can actually get into it, when you're not just there doing work but you're doing something you want to do and enjoy. i can't fucking wait till college.
I can do better in school if i'm interested in the subject. I'm just happy that I can smoke when there was a time when I never thought I was going to smoke again.
I think that goes with out saying tbh, if your intrested you try harder as you want to learn more about it ?
it would be fuckin bomb if you could light up during class.
Yea, that would be. Ace a test and the reward is a joint in class. That'd get alot of people motivated.
the classroom should be a place of relaxation. it shouldn't be about winning it should be about bettering yourself one way or another.
I agree, but some people really don't care about bettering themselves academically.
whenever i'm high during school i get paranoid and it ruins the high completely:(
I agree, but some people really don't care about bettering themselves academically.
that can be taught. i went to a charter school for 9th and 10th grade, while all the ghetto kids weren't turned there were quite a few who discovered themselves outside gangbanging and the ghetto.
I think not being 14 years old plays a huge roll in mature, responsible use :smug: You can become dependent on it the same way you can become dependent on television, videogames, pornography, and science-fiction novels. It's not an addiction, you just need to grow the fuck up.
your logic is great you should work in a rehab clinic
your logic is great you should work in a rehab clinic
Well, weed doesn't cause physical addiction. It can't. You can become dependent on it, then you DO need to grow up, or change.
Well, weed doesn't cause physical addiction. It can't. You can become dependent on it, then you DO need to grow up, or change.
Why grow up or change if it's not affecting your life?
because if you use a crutch when your legs aren't damaged they're going to get weak, know what i mean? out of all the people here i thought you would share my perceptions on being enslaved by drugs. you know, realizing what that feeling is and despising it.

It helps me with my depression and such, it doesn't harm me but helps me. But yea, being addicted sucks, you'll pretty much do anything just to get it, pretty much living for the high.. I'm not really that way with weed.
yeah if you could just stop like that without thinking about it or getting urges and be at least somewhat comfy living sober you ain't dependent. i remember a time like that for me when i'd not smoke just because i'd forget to lol. i'm not talking about being enslaved by it i just got this feeling of enslavement.
I don't think anyone can go from smoking everyday to not smoking at all and not have urges/think about it. I feel what you're saying, but it gets easier the longer you havn't smoked. You pretty much want to smoke but you don't need to smoke.

you're probably more content with your life
I smoked every day for 7-8 months straight and now I don't smoke at all, and I have no urges to. I guess I'm lucky.
Good for you?
i wouldn't i'm say enslaved to it but i like to do when i feel like chillen a little more than usual

There was a comedian who was tired of the whole hate on Weed, and decided to test something. For a month he smoked weed every day, 3 times a day, so he was high a lot of the time. Then he stopped all together, and was fine. Didn't care, his days were the same, he just didn't smoke. The green lights..." when he had to go 30 days without it and 30 days with it.

I smoke a few times a week, and I haven't gotten to this week, and it really doesn't bug me at all.
Go a while and I bet you will get urges/temptations.
Probably not. I'm not dependent on it to be happy. I'm happy anyways, it's just a way to enjoy a few hours. I don't get dependence on things anymore, after I've gotten off other things, I just don't get how you can be dependent, once you know what it's like, it's easy to distance yourself enough, or watch yourself. Being responsible for yourself is enough.
